re: Rian Johnson's new movie "Knives Out" takes aim at conservatives
All the more maddening if they've made a solid movie into a propaganda piece.

"takes direct aim at the MAGA crowd"

well it's about time someone in entertainment or media had the balls to attack Trump supporters, who've been coddled and praised by those communities for entirely too long

Rian johnson is such a worthless tool.

He is ashamed he is white and that he is a man. I predict one day soon he will transition to a mixed race female.

What genre is "very missed"? Murder mystery or conservative bashing? I didn't think there was really a lack of either

Some yes, not all anglican though. There are some Jewish people with heavy influence in film. Seems like there is a little more african american dollars coming into film as well.

hilarious since most trump voters are middle/lower class who are tired of the rich elitist liberal democrat bull shite.

i don't think i've seen more than 1-2 CEO 'fat cats' endorse trump..they're all in for the progressive movement.

but whatever rian. hope your hero is a purple-haired woman or a fat unlikable asian woman.

Quite the echo chamber when considering the actors, producers and movie “critics” lauding the film.

SJw critics sniffing their own farts and wafting them around as they all admire it .

It's also a scathing indictment of American greed in the Trump era.

I guess wanting to keep what your earn and making a living is considered "greed," but taking money from the producers and wager earners to give to illegals, ne'er do wells, and social programs is not.

re: Rian Johnson's new movie "Knives Out" takes aim at conservatives

Here's a list of the 15 richest Americans, according to Forbes circa February 2019:

quote:

1 Jeff Bezos $131.4 billion 55 Amazon
2 Bill Gates $100.3 billion 62 Microsoft, Cascade Investment
3 Warren Buffett $82.6 billion 89 Berkshire Hathaway
4 Larry Ellison $62.4 billion 74 Oracle
5 Mark Zuckerberg $62.1 billion 35 Facebook
6 Larry Page $60 billion 46 Google
7 Charles Koch $50.4 billion 83 Koch Industries
7 David Koch $50.4 billion 78 Koch Industries
9 Sergey Brin $49.9 billion 45 Alphabet
10 Michael Bloomberg $48.7 billion 77 Bloomberg L.P.
11 Jim Walton $44.6 billion 70 Walmart, inherited
12 S. Robson Walton $44.3 billion 74 Walmart, inherited
13 Alice Walton $44.4 billion 69 Walmart, inherited
14 Steve Ballmer $41.2 billion 63 Microsoft, LA Clippers
15 Sheldon Adelson $35.1 billion 86 Las Vegas Sands Corp.
How many votes did this group give Trump in 2016? I think only #15 for sure. Based on public announcements and speculation, I'm pretty sure #1-14 were all Clinton supporters.

"KNIVES OUT is a ton of fun: a slippery, stylised murder mystery, littered with zingers, that also operates as a satire of Trump's America
Of course it is. They don;t know how to be funny. All they have is this modified version of their butthurt.
quote:

littered with zingers
I really doubt that. People who are always looking to police language because they see offense behind every corner - are not capable of being funny.

Directed by a rich white person and starring nothing but rich white people, and obviously being patted on the back by rich white people. And, given the price of movie tickets these days, probably only being seen by rich white people.

Is it possible these RT reviewers are just projecting their own political views on to the film? What evidence does the film offer, in suggesting the antagonists are all Trump Supporters?

Rich white people are easy to satirize. Left, Right, Trump supporters, whatever.

Can you find any other movies that have as much projection in the critiques?
