well if a trillion was good then 100 trillion must be better. And a Trillion Trillion would be even bester.

Well looking over my 2024 taxes, my 5,000.00 will go right back to them.

I don't want it. I'd rather it be put towards paying down the debt or something else... because money just freely given out has historically not solved any long term issues, ever.

This isnt new treasury money.

Its recycling money (much going abroad as AID) to the American consumer, which will cause massive consumer demand spikes.

Its a stimulus.

You love the government controlling all of the money and not the citizens. Like a good conservative.

They need to put all waste fraud and abuse found towards the national debt. Once we lower that (to a point i won’t likely see in my lifetime), we can cut taxes and our kids and their kids may actually have a country down the road. $5000 won’t do much for most people these days as very few will likely use it to pay down their own debts and will waste it anyway.

So your option is to keep fleecing the American taxpayer and let the criminals continue to get it because they “spend the money”? You’re special.

So what's going to happen when they not only don't give us the $5000, but also don't use the money to pay down the debt?

NOTHING, because our populace are a bunch of naive rubes

I don't pretend to know the future, and definitely not what's going to happen in DC!

This isn't money found sitting in an account (perhaps a tiny fraction), it's not cash on hand.
It's "savings" by way of not spending it again in such a wasteful and fraudulent manner.

Had DOGE discovered a trillion dollars sitting in offshore accounts, then THAT would be different.
IMHO

Should be cutting taxes now. If you find the fraud, that reduction in money allows for cutting taxes which means people purchase more with it.

The next annual budget needs to be $1 trillion less than the previous, and the one after that anothee trillion less. According to Thomas Massey his colleagues aren’t interested in that. They’re all working on the 2026 elections and if I were trump I’d do the same. Have Massey put out legislation and let trump tell everyone he wants to see who’s on board. The key to all of this is the congressional black caucus and congressional districts with high white poverty rates. Connect the dots between rep and senate grift to spending within the budget. Start hammering local news and Facebook groups with the details. Prepare grass roots primary candidates in these areas. Let it be known that the gig is up, the game is over. They’re just waiting trump out.

Correct.

Flipping that savings immediately into an expense is Democrat bullshite.

This is why fiscal conservatives are always weary of the right adopting populism. This is the sort of silliness you get.

Should be money to everyone EXCEPT congress, lobbyists and government goons who profited with sweetheart deals while the rest of us starved

Let's feast on their account for once.

Hell, every "public servant" who's now a multimillionaire should have to pony up a cool million or so.

These celebrities too...a little tax for the working man on them too.

And cut out the welfare queens. You have to have actually worked to get this one.
Doesn't matter if it was as at shitty job or not, you have to show at least some gumption. Not giving this out to the shiftless or the bums.

This is a piece of pie for the workers. Blue or white, black or brown.

Youre such a progressive. Putting negative connotations on neutral things. Stimulus is an objective, neutral word in an economic sense.

Wanting to pay down the debt is the correct conservative answer.

Well, the Govt dropping a trillion dollars on the economy will spike demand, and cause some inflation.

If youre OK with that.

I would much rather see the Govt forced to pay off their previous frick ups.

Reduce the deficit by reducing spending...their appetites are insatiable.

DOGE has revealed their irresponsibility - they have more than enough of monies.
