Have you ever watched the movie Tomorrowland?

That's us right now.

I get the sentiment. Many people are just conditioned to unwind by turning on the TV and sitting.

It will take some people time to find new ways to unwind, or they can keep watching the filth.

Ah, but they do!

They eliminate the weak, and the weak willed.

And short of installing escalators in our wilderness, I’m sure some loon has already drawn up plans, you can’t make them accessible. You can’t water them down.

It’s an inherently elitist activity, because some people don’t have the endurance or the force of will for it.

And I don’t meant elitism in the sense of money or status.

Elitism, for me at least, goes back to the Greek idea of aristos, which meant best men, and best in the sense of character.

One of the downfalls of our culture, is that we’ve made virtue a sin. We drag each other down, rather than raise up heroes, and try to emulate them. We wallow in the mud, rather than try and improve ourselves. We excuse weakness and inadequacy, rather than push people to stand on their own.

Everyone still has their freedom to do whatever they want, they just have to have the WILL to take it all back.

Do you really need social media? Social media is the sucker tool and its intentionally made to be an addiction the same as nicotine was for cigarettes. People think they need these tech platforms and do not realize how great life is without having the need to know what everyone else is doing or thinking 24/7. LIVE YOUR LIFE and stop believing that what other are doing or thinking give your life any real value.

Cable TV is almost dead but all that cable news propaganda is now being pushed through your local news. DO NOT make the mistake in believing your local news is anything but propaganda. Local news is nothing resembling what your local news was just 10 years ago. Advertising is being delivered to you under the disguise of news that they want you to see and they ignore news they do not want you to see. They are no different than the national news now.

Be willing to tell your liberal friends to go take a hike. Seriously, why do so many conservatives believe they have to take everything their liberal friends dish out but cannot dish it back. Dump those liberal bullies so that they only have their other liberal bullies to argue with. I promise, those who don't change their ways and accept your views are not going to be missed and your lives will be more enjoyable without them. The reality is though that most of those liberal bullies will come around to accepting your views once you stop enabling their ability to force their views onto you.

Not sure I agree. Seems to be about half of everybody is pretty damn happy. They're happy making the other half miserable by taking their freedom, money and power away. Liberals love the toxic household as long as they own everything, control everything. And unfortunately, it seems like conservatives have accepted their fate as the battered and dependent spouse.

Where in 2020 do people of different backgrounds and ideas gather together to remember we have more in common than we think?

I usually go to the beach or just outside in general. Listening to this shite 24/7 isn't healthy

I spend at least an hour per day watching videos of British comics I've never heard of. They're funnier than American stand up comics. It's brutal. The Londoners rip Manchester. Manchester rips the Scots. The Scots rip the Irish. I'm laughing and learning geography at the same time.

But how do you reach the masses with this message?

We have replaced parenting and general outside exploration and maturity necessary to a well rounded youth and inserted fake digital media and fear mongering.

Something in our society is broken. And it starts at home. Parents are too selfish. It’s easy to watch TV and refuse to play with your kids outside and not pay attention to their schoolwork, etc. it’s especially easy in an age where we are so completely absorbed into technology we don’t even notice the world around us anymore.

Parents for the good of their kids need to severely limit screens and force an end to laziness. Yea, your kids will fight it and scream at you. It’s your job to raise them correctly not pacify them constantly in the easiest way possible.

brother if you ever figure this out, spread the word please.

I volunteer coach in the local rec league and I have become extremely disheartened with lack of participation and more so lack of parental involvement. To the point I left for baseball and have my kids in travel ball, something i despised for a long time.

Communist escape you ask? Have you ever been to a gun range? If not, you really need to find one and make time for regular visits. Better than any psycho therapy you’ll ever get. Bereft of leftist commie filth and full of the finest patriots in the country.

I was playing a game on my ipad yesterday and this, what i assume to be, Antifa lover or participant started off the match typing trash about Trump in the chat. how the 6th was a "bad day for America" and called me a fascista when i called him a communist. I asked him if it was bad for America when they burned democrat cities for 100 days, he never responded. But this is where politics is entering every aspect of our lives and it's becoming more and more difficult to find ways to avoid it. Getting outside is the best way to start.
