He announced a two-week ceasefire deal. He also announced the beginning of negotiations with Iran at the same time.
We extended the ceasefire at the behest of allies in the region for the sake of diplomacy.
We have been trying to negotiate with Iran this whole time. Obviously, Trump wants to find a peaceful resolution.
I think we have given Iran far too much leeway, but you and I don't have to carry the burden when an American soldier dies, or we accidentally wipe out a school full of children. I can understand why he is still hesitant to go scorched Earth.

I don’t care if they’re over, honestly. I really don’t care. If they’re over, they’re over. If they’re not… I think Iran took too much time. Frankly I think they started to get very boring.
real patriots will celebrate their 5.00 gas. actually, it's all bidens fault really. that, and that nasty Obama. he made a very bad deal with the mullahs. so sit back, relax, it will all work out in the end.

So you want the USA more involved with Ukraine against Russia, but less involved with our own interests against Iran.
Interesting.
Just going by the history I've picked up here.

Oh no, something that never goes exactly as planned didn't go exactly as planned. Let me make a post on the internet just so I can act smug and shite on fellow conservatives.
TDS truly makes people pathetic. You're more interested in causing division in your own party than the US actually succeeding.
If Republicans do lose in November, you will undoubtedly blame Trump while completely ignoring those, like yourself, who look to amplify any perceived weakness or failure Trump may have. You're just too dumb and emotional to see the big picture. It's more important for you to score internet points than to keep the democrats out of office.
It's sad how the evil in our country will be allowed to flourish because conservatives are more concerned with needing everyone to know how "right" they are versus the president and his supporters. One might think it's narcissism, but the signs point more towards insecurity.

How many imminent peace deals and victories have we declared over the last two months? I can’t keep up anymore

This could easily be flipped on you
You have traded the truth for support of a politician
At some point you have to acknowledge reality instead of cheerleading. It's YOU that wants to be right over anything.

What would you recommend OMB do to end the hostilities?

Make a deal and get out of there. The longer we stay the worse things will get. That seems obvious.

I keep being told about a "plan".

Trump’s issue with Iran is that he can typically win with pressure or leverage. Iran doesn’t seem to care. Tough situation.

From what I understand, last week, trump had a witkoff peace deal on his desk for 3 days and then he didn't sign it. A deal that pretty much would have allowed him to declare victory and get out.
