Regardless of Party, Does Anyone Actually Believe A Billionaire is the Best Fit for POTUS?

There are less than 1,000 billionaires in the U.S. out of a population of 343 million (0.00029%).
The middle class is the largest population group, at about 52% of U.S. citizens.
A billionaire’s extreme wealth puts them in a fundamentally different economic reality, where everyday costs, job insecurity, and budgeting constraints that dominate most Americans’ lives are irrelevant.

So you don’t want someone successful in life? Would you prefer someone who is bankrupt?

Not wanting a billionaire as POTUS =/= wanting someone who is bankrupt...
(Also, hasn't Trump filed for bankruptcy before?)

How about a normal, salt of the earth guy who actually loves his country?
Trump is a draft dodger who didn’t answer the call when his country needed him. That’s how I see it.

I really don't think it should matter. Billionaires, or wealthy people in general, are often well suited for the presidency for reasons that should be obvious. In many cases they have experience successfully running large organizations with competing factions, limited resources, etc. They know how to negotiate, understand strategy, have vision etc. There's also nothing to suggest these people aren't capable of empathy for non-billionaires. Most didn't start life with a billion dollars, they made it, and that experience is, in most cases, incredibly valuable for someone serving as chief executive of the US government.
The idea that you'd exclude this group because they're wealthy is asinine.

Wealth has nothing to do with it. We need character and intelligence in our leaders, I don't really care what they're worth.

So your point is that we should elect, as President, someone with an established track record of mediocrity?

Okay, but that’s a different point altogether.

I didn't say we're going to get character and intelligence, I said it's what we need. We don't reward either in politics, we want our carnival barkers.

73% of the US Senate are millionaires
47% of the US Congress are millionaires
7% of the American population are millionaires
SEE A PATTERN?

Trump was right to dodge, same with Ali. That war like most wars we get into are pointless.
If they wanted to draft now to put boots on the ground in Iran, I would encourage everyone to dodge it.

Much better than someone who has worked for the govt all their life.
I'd much rather have someone who understands how to build wealth.
Would you rather have someone like AOC as president? That's a very scary thought.

Dude. This country was started because because people realized being randomly born into ruling families didn’t automatically mean they’d be good leaders. Now you’re saying someone randomly born into wealth equates to success.
My kids apparently are hugely successful. Never had to work for anything they have just like the president.

This isn’t just billionaires. You’re getting too caught up in the word “billion”
