Trump has done dumb things with #1 being the tariffs, but besides monthly job gains (which have been at least in part reduced by the closed southern border and a steep decline in legal and illegal immigration), data across the board shows things were better in 2025 than in 2024
1) crime was lower
2) drug overdoses were lower
3) inflation was (slightly) lower
4) rents were lower
5) real wages were higher

The Democrats are going to return to decisive political power here in the USA and it is just a matter of time.
The MAGA Movement must be sustained long enough to overcome the next phase of Democrat power.
Trump alone can't save our country.

I didn’t say that it was necessarily. There’s certainly nuance, we probably agree.
We’re talking about what the public reaction (future polls specifically) will be if the job report tmrw is bad.
Seems it’s likely it’ll be pretty bad, given comments like this trying to preemptively move the goalposts and lower expectations ahead of time.

The labor market is definitely cooling and even “frozen” right now
I saw someone describe it as “no hire, no fire”, which seems fairly accurate given the low jobless claims
Tariffs have dampened job growth for sure but part of me wonders if there are other factors too such as AI or even companies realizing they overhired during pandemic

Trump/MAGA is just a bump in the road for the eventual takeover by the European-styled globohomos. We’ve been defeated while being complacent and apathetic through the years.

You're stuck in an echo chamber. Step out and get some fresh air. No reasonable person (IE: non-cult member) thinks Trump is doing a great job.

Of what?
They're leaving because of California fiscal, climate and tax policies.
What does Valero in CA have to do with Donald Trump?

I can't remember a president that did a great job. It's the nature of the position.
The question to ask is - do you think the country would be better off today if Kamala or any of the others in the Dem clown car was sitting in the oval office? No reasonable person (IE: non-liberal retard) thinks any of the Dems would be doing better for the country.

Im shocked Biden isn't higher. He had a rocking economy with a period of painful inflation. Trump has turned it to a shite economy but still with the pain of inflation.
No one with a 401k lived this.

Did you read what he was responding to?
It’s just an anecdote about jobs & tmrws job report (which does not sound promising). Job reports have big impacts on the current admin/POTUS, they always have.
Hope this helps.

If anyone honestly paid attention, Biden presided over a strong economy for most of his term, but inflation caught up toward the end..,

You can believe trump is doing a poor job while still believing he has been better than Biden.
Biden was a joke. In my opinion, the only people in America who can legitimately claim their life was better under Biden are recently fired federal workers.
Everyone else is unaware of nationwide trends from drug overdoses to teenage pregnancy if they think life was better in 2024 than 2025?

Inflation was historically high throughout every quarter of Biden’s term except early 2021

This administration has about 9 more months before it gets capped in the knees.
Trump 1.0 way better.
Trump 1.0 way better.

That's not a good question. It makes this very polar and binary.
Trump's problem is that he could have hit doubles all day long and wouldn't have hit the snags he did, but he went for homeruns and has whiffed a lot (as of today, in terms of impacts).
For example, he could have avoided the silly tariffs and all the negative externalities that came with them and instead negotiated a few trade deals that weren't as significant as the perfect result from the tariffs, but would have put us in a better position.
Immigration is another one. Super popular in the abstract and people would support getting all the violent criminals and the TDA types out. Or in relative darkness in cooperating areas where there wasn't friction. But instead the admin went for spectacle and quotas and it has eroded support.
Not fumbling the Epstein situation would have been really good for him. He's just been fricking that up from day one this admin. There aren't enough dimensions for the cope-defense to describe his chess that he's playing with Epstein, at this point.

If you have most of your wealth tied up in assets these metrics matter. Most Americans do not, including the MAGA voters who showed up to the polls on election day and allowed Trump to win his third term (jk).

He also makes more unforced and unnecessary errors than any president in my lifetime. That Obama Ape video? Sure, it's just a video, but C'mon Man. You have to be smarter than that.
Lmfao. This poll shows that this country is full of morons that can't remember Biden’s epic debate performance, his millions of illegals, or the flat out shite economy he had with zero job growth for real Americans, but let's all clutch our pearls over a hilarious video that will be forgotten in a week.
You conservatives are so soft. You people literally freak out over every little thing.
Read my 1st paragraph again. Biden created ZERO jobs for Americans, but you weaklings want us to fret over Trump deporting illegals and creating jobs for real Americans just because it's not as much as you want.
Few jobs > zero jobs. All you panickers only contribute to the fake bad news with your constant bitching. Show some fricking optimism and it will spread. People are sheep and go with the crowd. Learn to be a shepherd.
