Popular Christian Singer Lauren Daigle Not Sure If Homosexuality Is A Sin... quote: The real issue is the decision to succumb to sinful behavior or to call on the Holy Spirit to help resist these desires
so, you're saying you've dreamed about getting the d in the a? glad the spirit helped you resist.
No, I've never had any desire to have sexual relationships with anyone other than women. I've had an ongoing battle with pornography that started as a young teenager long before the sinnernet. Most non believers would consider my level of viewing pornography as typical male lustful behavior and completely normal. I'll go months and not look at any pornography and then I'll have a moment where the mind weakens and I do it. I can tell you the closer I walk with the Lord the desires to sin become much less prevalent, it's like Satan becomes less influential in my life. My weakness is definitely for the opposite sex and not acting on it with physical adulterous relationships has kept my marriage intact for 30 years.

Where is it written that to sing Christian songs, the singer must be without sin, or must judge everyone else?
Where in this thread did you reach that conclusion?

Nothing is clear in books that were written thousands of years ago, over the course of many hundreds of years, in dead languages and differing scripts.
Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle all are quite understandable. The Bible has been better preserved than any of these writers. Our understanding of what the Bible says has been remarkably well preserved. You should check into Textual Critcism studies

The Political Will of Der Staat will require certain concessions from organized religion, whether the religion voluntarily concedes to modification of doctrine OR whether the managerial infrastructure of said religion is compelled to concede via infiltration and subversion of said infrastructure.
The supremacy of the theology of Der Staat must be protected and supported by any of the religions that are permitted to exist in Der Staat.

The Left definitely hates her because she didn't denounce the Anti-Gay positions of all of the organized Christian religions.

If the Bible were so clear, we wouldn't need:
...to tell us what it all means.

Here are some other nuggets from the Bible:
Things you can't do:
Planting more than one kind of seed in a field (Leviticus 19:19).
Wearing clothing woven of more than one kind of cloth (Leviticus 19:19).
Cutting the hair on the sides of your head or clipping of the edges of your beard (Leviticus 19:27).[23]
Touching the dead carcass of a pig (Deuteronomy 14:8).
Living in a city that failed to surrender to the Israelites (Deuteronomy 20:12-14).
Performing any work on the Sabbath (Exodus 20:10).
Eating fat (Leviticus 3:17).
Eating pork (Leviticus 11:7–8).
Waiting too long before consuming sacrifices (Leviticus 19:5–8).
Being one of the majority of women who don’t bleed when losing their virginity (Deuteronomy 22:20–21).
The list goes on, and on, and on.
This post shows a clear lack of understanding of the Bible and Christianity. The fact that all of those citations come from the Old Testament should tell you something.

They need to judge!
This is the most misunderstood scripture ever.
You have to take all scripture and use them together.
1 Corinthians 5 goes directly against your interpretation. Therefore your interpretation is flawed:
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Porn is no good. I think of it very similarly to you. I believe it takes away from your relationship and can inevitably end it. It may not be physically cheating, but it is certainly cheating and a weakness to even the most committed.
to your faithfulness

New Testament

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind
reprobate: 1 to condemn strongly as unworthy, unacceptable, or evil; 2 to foreordain to damnation; 3 to refuse to accept, to reject
Theres no coming back from the ghey
Old Testament
quote:
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
abomination: 1 something regarded with disgust or hatred; 2 a vile, shameful, or detestable action, condition, habit
It couldn't be any clearer, from both OT and NT authors. God aint a fan

Why do they have to fall? Do you think Christians today think like Jesus intended? As in it has not progressed??
If you've been saved and Jesus is the Lord of your life then you also invited the Holy Spirit into your being. Yes, I can tell you when I was saved at age 50 my whole being vibrated for a couple of minutes when I was accepting Christ and pledging to repent from my sins and to be born again with a renewed mind and spirit. I'm not going get into a complete testimony about my faith experience but I can tell you once you make the decision to invite the Lord into your life the Holy Spirit will convict you of the sins. Sins that you use to think nothing of, now the Holy Spirit reminds you that you have made a commitment to the Lord. We're called to sanctify ourselves and that's what I'm struggling with right now, trying to completely leave my past sin life behind.
Now, to answer your question about Christians living their lives as Christ intended, No! Not one person is capable of living their life as pure and righteous as Christ. We are taught to continually sanctify ourselves and to walk in the light, to be the best example of Christ's enduring love and to leave no doubt when another person encounters us that they know we are followers of Jesus Christ.
