Textual Criticism only speaks to the accuracy of modern Bible compared to Original Texts.

What the Bible says is straight forward when read in context.

Sounds like another supposed Christian who doesn't know their Bible.

I think more Christians should go where the truth is taught and not go where they will have their ears tickled.

I smh at pop culture and it's pop theology. She's just expressing her feelings...feelings that are no different than if she were a secular rock star. Actually, there is no different, she just sings from a different script. All of this is as foreign from orthodox faith and theology as is east from west.

This type of entertainer is as much a part of pop culture as Justin Timberlake. Her "feelings" about whether homosexuality is a sin are just that ... her feelings. This has nothing to do with orthodox theology nor does spouting scripture back at her. She will continue to get rich off her gigs.

It all makes perfect sense when you've been indoctrinated into Christianity since childhood. However, to the objective observer, you people look like clowns.

The older I get, the more like Islam Christianity looks. It's enough to make me pity the Jews for having such miserable offspring. Maybe we wouldn't be in this predicament if the Jews had kept to the OT, and killed off everyone following false prophets.

as soon as christian's give up pork, allow men to have as many wife's as they want and bring back slavery then i will start believing being Gay is a sin. Because the good book says eating pork is a sin , a man can have as many wife's as he sees fit and slavery is just fine.

I love a lot of sinners but that doesn’t mean they’re not sinners.

You can say they’re sinning without condemning them. In all fairness, their sin is no greater than my sins. But it is a sin to be a homosexual. If she wants to make money off of the word, she should know what it says. And shouldn’t manipulate it in fear of losing money because of what it says. Especially with it being the very thing she’s leaning on to make money.

Agree 100%. God and the bible haven't changed. Man and his justifications have.

I will be glad to talk to the objective observer, but don’t think you are being objective.

It truly is fine if you do not believe it. I have no problem with that.

It is really hard to make an objective argument that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality as sin. It condemns many things as sin.

The Bible can be clear in its meaning, and you can disagree with it.

To be fair to your argument there are plenty of Christians that are clowns. There are plenty of non-Christians that are clowns. There are just lots of clowns liberal and conservative a like. This doesn’t really make an argument for or against anything.

New Testament
quote:
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind

reprobate: 1 to condemn strongly as unworthy, unacceptable, or evil; 2 to foreordain to damnation; 3 to refuse to accept, to reject

Theres no coming back from the ghey

The fact that all of those citations come from the Old Testament should tell you something.

So Genesis is a bunch of BS too? Or is that still gospel, but not the rest of the Old Testament?

Do I have to keep up with which books of the Old Testament are cool and which ones aren't?

You don't have to do shite other than keep being a complete jackass. I don't think you can help yourself in that regard.

None of what you said is true. You don't get to pass judgement down. You can call what you want to sin in your own head but the moment you project it onto someone else you are passing on extremely negative energy
