all the taboos listed in the Old Testament were declared sins by Christ?

while we're at it, let's find all the references by Christ to the old testament

In the Christian faith it's the exact opposite of hate, it's about atonement, redemption and ultimately salvation, all based on the most selfless love the world has ever know..., Jesus Christ.

You guys believe in an all powerful all knowing infinite being.

They don't, really.

They seem to think that God is beyond space and time, but then they ascribe all these actions that God takes that require God to be bound by the space-time continuum - thinking, waiting, changing, etc... To God, everything that has ever happened, is happening, or will happen in the entirety of the universe, happens simultaneously. The creation of light ("Let there be light") happens simultaneously with the Exodus, and the birth and death of Jesus. Omniscience and omnipresence are one and the same.

It cannot, by definition, take 6 days to create the universe for an entity that is beyond space-time, it is instantaneous.

And as far as infallibility, didn't God regret making Saul king?

I have not seen anybody question that she is Christian.

Many are faulting her for not standing on the most solid foundation..... God's Word.

I guess I took the response that questioned if she was faithful as doubting her belief.

I’m not saying it’s not a sin. It is. In the Old and New Testaments.

I think my bigger issue stems from this being a bigger deal with Christians than Amy Grant or Israel Houghton being divorced and remarrying. And I know both those people have been criticized, but they’re actually committing sin.

Sure they are. Most here are paying penance by not having sex after they get married.

I don’t believe in god but it clearly says in the Bible men shouldn’t lay with men. If you’re Christian why should you get to pick and choose what you specifically believe?

Mmmm hmm.

Seems most people aren't spiritual, but legalistically religious.

Because of all the inconsistencies. Naturally, anyone with sense would question the Bible.

Jesus was a righteous person on earth. What's wrong with choosing to follow him like the apostles did?

Fixed that for you. Unless by "Son" you mean Jesus, in which case it would be God himself who is pleased by His Son, which is probably okay.

Otherwise, you should love God for the child he gave you (along with everything else God has provided). To say you're pleased with God's results is presumptuous.

Muslims take this point very seriously. God gets credit for everything.

No. By supporting homosexuality. It's the same as supporting/justifying any other sin. Loving others is 100% what we should all do, especially Christians. But it is 100% wrong to support something the bible clearly condemns.
I'm sure you've heard the saying "love the sinner, hate the sin"?
