Some of the non-catholics are more obsessed with the Pope than Catholics are.
The Pope is going to be anti-war, pro-peace, always. Even within the bounds of just war doctrine, the push will always be for diplomatic resolution to conflict. Pope Leo is, so far, not the kind of Pope I was hoping for. That said, he answers the questions thrown at him, which are often asked with an agenda.

Is this where you pretend that the Catholic Church, under papal authority, did not systematically covered up and protected known acts of sexual abuse of children by people known to powers of authority, including friends of Leo and Francis?
Without Vigano’s letter, which he leaked or at least was complicit in the leak under threat of excommunication, we never would have known some of the level of abuse by friends of Francis and Leo.

“Cannot consider themselves Christians” is not something a person that genuinely wants to spread the word of Christ should ever say. It is a human attempt to manipulate behavior to what they see fit. Everything you need to influence behavior is already written, stick to that. If you want to go outside those lines, consider another profession.
