It was taken from Trump's speech when we left the deal "I was elected to represent Pittsburgh, not Paris"

Not really. It makes him look kinda dumb.

It's like saying the Geneva convention does nothing more than benefit the interests of the Swiss.

Fawk, I don't care about any of this. I'm going to fawwking not pay any attention to this for about two month. I'd suggest others do the same. And remember when you can, resist, not bitch!

we are already among the very best in the first world at per capita co2. Out net change in emissions over the past decade has been negative while countries like China and India pump smoke into the atmosphere at record levels.

The agreement's mission is literally to control global average temperatures. Essentially, the US was going to cut a 100b check every few years to sit back and watch China and India ignore the agreement because its goals were so vague and impossible to reach. Furthermore, dem leaders will continue to hobble American industry with "climate-based" regulations that hemorrhage jobs... jobs that will simply be stolen by China -- even though the US does fantastic on its own in managing co2

By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.

So because people can't understand the difference between the meaning of "views" and "affects" that's a Ted Cruz issue?

Alrighty...

I can't imagine how much more of a cesspool twitter is now that there's not many conservative regular folks on there anymore. Republicans are going to get ratio'd to hell and back on every tweet they makes now.

Maybe a better question is how are Americans doing today? Not many of those EOs Biden signed yesterday benefit American citizens. Biden is doing great but Americans are already worse off. That means you, assuming you are an actual legal citizen.

pft. you think DEMe or GOPe maggots like Biden define success by the prosperity of the people they "serve"? lol. "Doing alright" simply means they are in power again.

Thanks for the write up. What are some climate based regulations in particular? Are we talking mainly plant jobs affected?

Biden thinks it's important for America to be a leader for the world, not just America first.

I'm completely fine with that.

Agreed, it's weird.

But liberals probably think the accord is cool because Paris is "cool", now that it's overrun by Muslims.

Maybe he learned from Trump.

This is a great way to get a message out.

Ummm, you know you're free to leave and move anywhere else in the 'world' that you think is ideal for your leftist views. I'm sure the 'world' will take all of the taxes and percentages of your net income you care to donate. Just don't include the rest of us Americans who choose to take care of our country, homes and families FIRST!

This smells like a troll, so look it up on your own.

Look for the Biden administration to once again command the EPA to declare co2 a "pollutant" which causes all sorts of issues for nearly any plant, factory, foundry, refinery, etc...

I think the relevant question is whether we believe the world is a better place with the United States being in at least the perceived position of dominance, and then the important follow up to that, which is if you believe the above to be true then what much continue to be done for the U.S. to retain that clear status.

Of course IMO I believe the world is a better place with us as the alpha dog, to the fullest extent possible, thus the maintenance of that position necessarily requires an America first policy.
