Nope. People need to see it, lest we forget and make the same mistakes again.

People need to see the horrors of history in hopes that they won't be repeated. Sadly we're likely well on our way to repeating the history that contains these photos.

Karma would have been the continued blockade and firebombing leading to many more Japenese deaths. The A Bombs saved potentially hundreds of thousands of US casualties. The potential millions of Japanese saved from starvation, fire bombings, and invasion were just a humane side effect IMO. Japan got off lucky.

My in-laws are Filipino. Let's just say that if I were Japanese they wouldn't be my in-laws.

My wife's grandmother hid American and Filipino Soldiers under her barbershop in the early 40's. She wore multiple garments under her top to make it look like she was pregnant in order to keep from being raped by Japanese Soldiers.

Yeah, maybe. But Germany would've earned a couple too by that measure.

Any nuclear attack on Nazi Germany (specifically anywhere near Berlin) would cause fallout to enter Poland, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, France, Holland, Czechoslovakia, and Denmark.

Truth. I doubt we would have used a nuke in Europe. Too many variables and assets close by for something to go wrong. What would have happened if the plane flying the bomb gets shot down over eastern France or dropped the bomb a few miles off target?

Japan on the other hand was the perfect test dummy to show the world our new toy. An island far away from your own or your allies assets and far less risk.

If you were to talk to anyone in government in Japan today, they would tell you that you have been duped by LIES. They would tell you that nobody in the Imperial Japanese service ever committed any atrocity or cruelty.

The Japan of today categorically rejects and denies ALL allegations of war crimes committed in WW2. In fact, they have already installed their convicted and executed military leaders into their Shinto Hall of Dieties. The same people that you say are War Criminals are worshipped in Japan today as Shinto Deities.

Japan of today is NOTHING like Germany. Japan admits NO wrongdoing whatsoever. Japan teaches their schoolchildren that Imperial Japan was forced into war by the USA and that all US allegations of Japanese war crimes are LIES and not to be believed.

China and Korea accused the Japanese military of forcing young girls into being sex slaves. Today's Japan denies these allegations as reckless exaggerations and distortions. Today's Japan maintains that these young girls were volunteer prostitutes and were paid for their services.

So don't expect anybody in Japan to agree with your view. They don't share the same suicidal racial guilt that the Germans currently have.

Nanking? A total lie, according to today's leaders of Japan and the schoolchildren are taught that it is a lie to say that Japan did anything wrong in Nanking.

Today's Japan would tell you to stop believing all of the lies that tell you that Japan was ever anything but "a good society right now thats good natured."

Japanese schoolchildren today would tell you that they learned in school that you are propagating lies and falsehoods about what Japan did in WW2.

Are we sure this is not "fake news", I mean who are the sources of this stories?

Not defending them, just playing devil's advocate.

WW2 was a really dark period. Fascinating times really, it was like combining the brutality of medieval times with modern technology.

Read up on the Russian Sleep Experiment if you want a horrifying story.
