That’s a real shame that you (and many others) don’t have respect enough for our fallen soldiers, and their families, brutally slayed by roadside bombs and other Islamic fundamentalists trained and sheltered in Iran, by various wings of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, to even bother knowing the role Iran even played in their death. Don’t even care.

Honest answer:
I would join.
If my govt massacred thousands of my friends/ppl and were totalitarian and barbarian, I would join.

If the United States was under the control of an apocalyptic radical religious regime for the last 50 years.
And that regime used most of its resources to build up the military rather than the basic needs of the populace.
And that regime had a militia group that kept strict control over the people and massacred them to retain conformity
And then some outside country came in and bombed and killed and decapitated that regimes leadership
And that other country said that they wanted us to fight for our freedom and then let us form a new government that was more free
And that other country said they would help build up our country economically
THEN I think most here would be willing to fight for that...

Also seems like the regime is busy with us and not killing more of their own

Ask Japan. They did and they were a hell of a lot tougher than Iran. They saw what was happening.

Reversing roles I C.
So are you asking me if my gov't killed my cousin and two of my friends and I hated my gov't and a foreign country started attacking my gov't while doing a damn fine job of avoiding civilian casualties, what would I do? Is that what you are asking.

I have a sneaky feeling the Iranians care for their politicians about as much as we care for ours.

Ok, just to fit the premise of your thread let's say this:
The year is 2024 and Biden won reelection in a campaign and vote that was obviously rigged - they don't even try to hide it anymore and have embraced admitting to it "for the good of the people." Most average people did not want another Biden term, and he was very unpopular - but the upper 1% with influence in DC, the Intel agencies, bad actors looking to use our countrys resources to fund global terrorism, and a rogue wing of our military forced the vote to show he won. They pretty much openly admit it with a wink and a nod these days.
Large protests erupt across the country
"WE WANT OUR DEMOCRACY BACK! WE DEMAND A VOTE! WE DEMAND FREEDOM!"
The Biden administration deploys federal agents, soldiers, and law enforcement to quell the protests by any means necessary, tens of thousands are murdered in cold blood and left to bleed out on the streets. Tens of thousands more are taken into custody and given sham trials before public execution. All for standing against a dictatorship and system of government they did not want and did not vote for.
The populace has no way to fight back because in the midst of the Biden/Democrat regime taking full control, they confiscated guns, did raids on holdout factions of citizens using full military might and equipment, and killed any one/any area that opposed them.
You're left with a population being held hostage. Those that vehemently opposed this new fascist rule and were willing to go all the way and fight/die for their freedoms have been killed. Those that had stockpiles of guns and ammunition have been raided with drones and tanks. Everyone that's willing to fight are now scattered in the wind and few in numbers. What's left is a populace that can't fight back and is being held hostage
Suddenly, let's say Japan and South Korea say they've had enough of these rogue US actors, Intel agencies, and dictator Biden causing global mayhem, killing their own people through acts of terrorism, fricking up the global economy, just generally being a threat to global and western hemisphere peace and trade. The Biden Dictatorship has regularly threatened both South Korea and Japan with nukes and ballistic missiles, and they've had enough.
I would absolutely, 100%, without question accept their aid and "give up" to them as a regular citizen. I would applaud their efforts in recognizing a population being held hostage and their willingness to risk their lives and treasure to free us people they don't even know. I would cheer their bombs, missiles, and drones striking tools the dictatorship has used to bleed us dry of our money in order to build more control over us and threaten the world. I would cheer every leader their strikes dropped.
The last thing I'd want them to do was stop short of eliminating every last one of those that oppressed us and their ability to do it again

You wouldn't have to do all that for Americans to start waving every white thing they could find.
Canada and France are probably softer than we are, but that's probably about all.
All you'd need to do is knock out the internet and interrupt the supply chain of processed food. Maybe hire some skywriters to write, "The Deep State has Teamed Up With Aliens on This...Surrender or Die By Disintegration Ray," for good measure.
Drop leaflets in major cities promising student loans to be forgiven by the new regime to anyone who fights to overthrow the current US government and by nightfall of the next day the Capital and White House would be overrun.

They can't give up. The IRCG controls too much of the economy. they give up power, they go broke. Not to mention they fear retribution.

If I were an Iranian Islamic soldier I would fight to the death, because I would want to die before I allowed the USA to turn my girls and women into Whores and my boys and men into Homosexuals, and to make my whole country safe and welcoming for Trans Kids and Trans People.
I would not believe all of this talk about wanting to make Iran free, I would be convinced that the USA wanted to turn my whole country Queer, so, yes, I would fight to the death.

You realize that security forces in Iran use rape as a punishment for protest, right? That includes men, women, boys, and girls.
They may say they care about sexual debauchery, but clearly they don't.

If you were killed there is no "probably" about it. You are an illiterate person. There is no possibility if you doing anything if you're dead..
