Would be more worthwhile to set the cash on fire as a source of heat.

I have learned in the last few years:

Democracy = voting for State approved candidates.

Populism = voting for candidates the State doesn’t approve of.

The problem is the State hates me and my kind (straight, white, family orientated, employed, and expects the rights guaranteed in the Constitution to apply to me).

What is the GOP and DEM argument against populism? What is supposed to be bad about it?

But "Republican populism" is the exact term for describing what is happening in Louisiana.

What do you think is “happening in Louisiana”?

What were we the past 8 years?

The simplest objection is it takes an overly narrow conception of who "the people" are.

Yeah that’s a winning strategy let’s fight the people who put us in office , so they change their prospective on what they should vote for . Instead of I’ll change my political views to line up to the will of the people because they are the ones who will put us in office . These people are retards!!! And narcissistic.

Populism

Is voting for those who say what you want to hear. They dont have principles, just stand for what gets them elected.

Trump governed as a conservative for the most part (if you ignore fiscal responsibility) so I don't necessarily consider him a populist.

It’s a meaningless term to describe elected officials, for the most part Certainly to describe voters.

Is Biden “populist”?

Lol, more grifting and creating another money pit from someone who is against it.

Why can’t some peeps slither away and leave us alone. He had his time and blew it. The destruction we are seeing is because of his lack of action when it was needed.

the GOP needs to actually write out their core values...and communicate that to the American people with signatures!

A populist looks to take power away from the elites and replace it with the mob(majority).

It is authoritarian and moves away from a representative government.

Also there is the conservative idea of "the individual" vs " the collective". Populism would favor the collective.
