It is just a cease fire, but he deserves immense credit for that. He has handled this well and has remained steadfast at pursuing the return of the hostages and implementing a cease fire and a plan for peace.
I don't know that we will ever have peace as long as radical muslims exist in the world, but he has done an excellent job in the middle east and deserves credit for that, and other things.

And some people here wonder why this country remains so divided & toxic. A great day, full of tears of happiness & celebrations, and the haters still can't be just a bit happy. As for any "slaughter", are you aware that the numbers of those killed in Gaza are produced by the Hamas controlled "news organization"? There is no distinction between the death of Hamas terrorists & civilians, and the majority of Hamas tunnels are under civilian buildings. .....but I, and the most of the world, am just happy.

I believe the echos of those conflicts are at least louder than a whisper, especially as it relates to the more religious aspects of the modern, post-WWI/Ottoman conflict, and as time has gone on, they've been sort of propagandized to become bigger than they may have initially been.

Brother, when I used to have discussions about legalizing gay marriage, I had conservatives try to shout me down by accusing me of advocating for pedophillic marriage, bestial marriage, and whatever you would call someone marrying inanimate objects (my favorite was a toaster)
Now, do I think conservatives have, on average, been more reasonable to debate over the last couple of decades than liberals (more accurately progressives)? Yes. Have they been categorically reasonable? Absofrickinglutely not.

Have to remember Leftist often don't mean what their protest slogans say when it becomes inconvenient for them. Trump got a cease fire, so what they really meant was Israel needs to be destroyed before they are happy. Just like "Defund the Police" didn't mean that when a few cities did and crime skyrocketed.
