I just just learned to like Paxton

I'm very skeptical that the Save Act or any other law coming out of Washington is going to clean up elections in places like Fulton County, Minnesota, Philly, etc. Rino Cornyn has to go at all cost, unless Paxton takes the place of worthless Bondi.

This is why I voted for Paxton. Brilliant move on his part.

pass the SAVE act and replace Bondi with Paxton

That's badass of Paxton and makes me like him even more. If the act passes, Trump needs to make room in his administration for him. That's a true patriot

Boss move by Paxton. Respect.

Gotta love it. Back that F’n POS Thune against the wall.

It's sad when the GOPe has to deploy leverage against the GOPe just to get things done, when the GOPe controls House, Senate and White House.
I hate our Congress. There are like six or seven actual patriots among them.

It's interesting why Trump would consider endorsing Cornyn over Paxton in the first place. And I wonder if Paxton's message moves the needle any on garnering Trump's endorsement.

Definitely a honorable move by Paxton, but replacing John Cornyn would also be huge.
In my view, there are laws already in place that prohibit illegals from voting.
The Marxist Dem states already plainly violate that law. What's makes anyone believe they will follow another law?

quote:
The primary law is 18 U.S.C. § 611, enacted as part of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRAIRA). This statute makes it unlawful for any "alien" (non-citizen) to vote in any election held solely or in part to elect candidates for federal offices, such as President, Vice President, Senator, Representative, etc.Key points from the law:It explicitly prohibits non-citizens from voting in federal elections.
Violations are a federal crime, punishable by fines, up to one year in prison (or more in some related contexts), and potential immigration consequences like deportation or inadmissibility.
There is a narrow exception for certain non-citizens who reasonably believed they were U.S. citizens (e.g., if their parents were citizens, they resided in the U.S. before age 16, etc.), but this does not apply broadly.

Noem stepped down from DHS, today. Some Oklahoma Senator is replacing her. I would not be surprised if this all starts in the mind of Stephen Miller, with Paxton getting guarantees to move up immediately. Miller operates in the shadows but is very smart and cutthroat.
