Have any of you been there and played it? I talked my wife into going next year and want to get it booked before she changes her mind. Curious if it's worth it and would you go back?

I'm no expert on this by any means, but bounce plays a big factor in your wedges. I play a 52 and 56 fine, but can't hit my 60 to save my life. I started looking into it and my 52 and 56 are both 10 degree bounce, my 60 is 8. I'm probably going to pick up a 60 in 10 to see if I can play it better.

That said, I hit Vokeys, TM MG4, and Clevelands. I personally liked the feel of the Cleveland RTZ a lot better than the others I've tried. It has a softer feel to me. Despite how bad my control is, I'm noticeably better with the Clevelands than the others too. Vokey and TM felt like it popped off the face more to me.
Mine was at 90 last weekend and that's getting warm for me. I prefer it around 83-85.

re: Skenes getting rocked

It's the majors, there are literally 29 teams of analyst studying his every move and metric humanly possible. They know every percentage and tendency he has had for the last 10 years and are feeding all that data to the people that have to face him. It happens to every pitcher, he will be fine.
Ole Miss is trying to out aggie the aggots over hiring Kiffin. I've never seen the leadership of an entire organization this butt hurt.

That said, people are held to the contracts they sign on a daily basis. It was only a matter of time before this happened in the NIL era, it just happened to be these salty bastards.
I don't disagree with anything you said.

I'll add the show Yellowstone to the list too. I tried watching it and made it about 20 minutes into the first episode before I lost all interest. Constant drama is mind numbing.
I got back into it when Skenes and Crews was drafted. I was chasing their rookie cards to put away. What I learned during that time is that the hobby is seriously broken. The cost of buying boxes to chase a card is stupid and inflated by the potential of a couple players. Then the base cards are trash, the only things people care about are the numbered cards. And that is fake as well. They created demand and exclusivity by making cards in limited numbers, but at the same time print the same card in 10 different colors and number them individually as well. So most of the time, your 1 of 1 is actually just 1 of that color and there's 5,000 of the same exact card with a different color boarder.

Collecting has been building since covid and prices are stupid for some of these cards, especially the hot rookies. You have HOF players whose cards aren't worth much, but then you have a rookie who hasn't done anything pulling crazy money.
These prices won't last, I personally believe the bubble is going to pop again like it did when we were kids.

That said, I have some cards I picked up pre covid boom that are in my safe Ive considered selling. I don't know that they will ever be worth more than they are now.
Swift is going to look funny on the back of his jersey
Home Alone and Fresh Prince are the ones I remember, but I know there's a lot more
Well no shite. When you're malnourished you don't really have the energy to fight.

I went and saw one of our customers this week who has been on it for a while. He's lost 100+ lbs. The guy could barely talk and he wasn't like that before. He would say something then it was a long pause to get the next statement out. You'd have thought he recently had a stroke or something.
I'm sure overall he feels better and it's better for his health, but it's time to cut back the dosage so he can eat a little and get some energy back.
I didn't like the Pioneer head units back then because everyone had them, I was all Eclipse with JL subs.
That dolphin head unit is quite nostalgic though, I'm seeing it pop up all over the place.
Texass should be the better game, but tickets will cost 3x as much.
I had to pay football prices for baseball tickets when LSU came to Texas.
My kid raced motocross, I was up to $15k per year not including the cost of bikes. I posted here a while back about a family I know that was spending $100k per year for their kids racing and training.

Every sport can get as expensive as you're willing to go.

I had some friends and family over to watch game 1 of the finals that Saturday evening. I wanted to go to Omaha last year but we had a Disney trip with the family the week prior, so it was too much in a short time frame and I decided not to go.
Anyway, we had a good time during the game and I was feeling pretty good. It ended and I told everyone, if we leave now we can get there with plenty of time before the game tomorrow. They laughed and I said no, I'm serious. I have a company vehicle and a gas card that I'm allowed to use for personal use. My wife chimed in and said to go and she would use points to book us a hotel room.
So my cousin and I hopped in my company car at 10PM and headed north. He was driving since I had been drinking.

That was a trip for the memory books for sure. Had a great time and will never forget it. That was also my first time going to Omaha.
We made it to Roccos at 10AM, put down our first round of jello shots, and the rest is history.
Needless to say, we were absolutely exhausted by the end of the day.
I dug a 16x36 foot hole in the back yard and filled it with water
I've been called racist for other stupid things too, so why quit now
