The reality is Biden set this precedent and it will be a standard operating practice of every subsequent president until the end of humanity. The breadth of these preemptive pardons will expand to include entire staffs and administrations because nobody wants to work under the threat of baseless, frivolous, or weaponized attacks by the opposing political party.
