A pretty obvious fact is the marriage rate has plummeted. People just aren’t getting married anymore. They are still having sex even if it’s not as much as it used to be.

Most of this statistic has more to do with declining marriage rates. Birth rates are also in decline. It’s just declining marriage rates outpace declining birth rates. Birth rates of white women in the US aren’t particularly high.
