I'm against the woke bull shite as much as anyone, but this dude kind of seems like the a-hole in this case. He claims to be against tyranny, but he also feels that his server shouldn't be able to have that job if they don't conform to the image that he prefers.
I'm pretty much in the same place with this.

In most encounters between a bigot and another person, it IS indeed the bigot who is the a-hole.
Hmmm...here's the first definition of the word "bigot" I found:
"obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group."
I don't think that the opinion is unreasonable. If you do, how so?

Just ate there last week for the second time lately in Pensacola, FL.....food was good, and service was good.

Sounds like they didn't punish the girl, they protected her by removing her from a situation that frightened her. Something the father would have done if he cared about her feelings.

can say with 100 percent certainty that there is a man who works at the CS Olive garden who matches the description of this server.
If you’re trying to make this letter and the events sound credible, then why has the letter been passed around for a month with only slight changes?

Of course, he could also have just told his daughter than some men like to dress like women and there was nothing to fear. That too would have been "reasonable."

But the remainder of faux-Kevin's rant makes it pretty clear that his faux-daughter's faux-fear was barely a secondary consideration, when measured against his ... vociferous ... feelings about transgender folks.
Agree with their lifestyle or not, you are not being placed in danger when a MTFTG hands you the pasta primavera and iced tea.

Not nearly as much as I hate groomers who want to force children to assimilate to their perversions

What are the odds that that was the manager's gay lover?

Mine asked "Why that boy got a dress on".

Yeah if they just stopped at "no" it would be different...but they chose to kick him out based upon his request. Problem!

Perfect... I've gone 20 years not stepping inside an Olive Garden, I'll try to go the distance now. [Local restaurant has much better food anyway].

per chance do you live in College Station? Do you frequent or work at Olive Garden?
The last time I ate at an Olive Garden, there was actually a trans woman interviewing at a table close by. After that meal I vowed never to return..not because of their trans positive hiring practices...but because the food is just terrible.

Darden Restaurants
I played golf a few times with a couple of the Darden grandkids. They hardly struck me as left-wing loonies but I doubt if they play much of a role in hiring or grooming standards. If they even still own the company.

Asking to change tables, without insulting or degrading the server, is not an unreadonable request. He didn't ask for it to get fired, or be sent home!

This open letter begs the question:
If a man is a drama queen, does that make him a gender bender?
