Express a different opinion, get removed. State that being removed was not professional, get mocked.

Look, I get it. This is the future leftists want. Enjoy your ability to cancel who you please while it lasts.

Yeah, let's all laugh at the people who are actually getting canceled, removed from public places, or even removed from their jobs because they misgender someone that's mentally ill.

I get your schtick here. Sometimes I appreciate it. Sometimes I realize you're just trolling for replies. Either way, only one group right now deals with consequences of "speech".

Well, at least we all know what the C stands for.

If it really bothers this guy and his precious daughter, he should have gotten up and left.

Even if they honored that request and gave him a new server, do you still want to trust that your food won't be royally messed with?

I agree with this sentiment.

Guy didn't ask for anyone to be canceled, unlike what the leftists here are implying. Had he said "that server should be fired", then I could see where the projecting leftists could cry "faux outrage". He simply asked for another server, and he was canceled.

Pretty neat how this all works.

These folks are not marginalized. They are authoritarians.

Are we still talking about a fake letter and a situation that never happened?

He wasn't doing that.

Adding context to his argument isn't acceptable?

No, they kicked him out of the restaurant. Did you read the letter??

Good for you but that doesn't mean everyone else would ask for a different server is wrong for doing so and not enititle to make their own decision.

If a customer requests a different server then the restaurant should honor the request.

It's a private business. They can do what they want

I can promise you that the person (manager)who kicked him out were not the owner of that OG store/franchise, nor did they follow the companies policies for how to resolve a request for a new server. I guarantee the policy is to move the customer to a different section with a different server or remain in same table but switch servers. They want the customer to come back, spend money at their restaurant in the future.

Olive Garden does not want some local shift manager imposing their own personal agenda, or beliefs as a mean to kick out paying customers.

If true then the manager should be reprimanded and require staff to dress per corporate policy and all staff have appropriate makeup, hairstyles that fit the image OG wants to portray.. I guarantee that does not include excessive, bright, colored makeup.

don’t disagree. He also served for that freak to enjoy freedom. What do you really expect from Olive Garden?

He made a request.

A private business decided they didn’t want to serve him.

He left. He made his grievances known.

Free market will determine who was right.

Seems like freedom all around to me

You mean the guy whose open letter is being passed around the Internet was cancelled? Perhaps one of the worst takes here.

Being asked to leave an olive garden isn't being cancelled, it's a sure sign of being white trash but it's doesn't count as cancellation. Hell I bet he can even go back to Olive gardens.

My now 22yo daughter was the worst about blurting stuff out. If we got to a drive thru and there was a questionable looking person we started to pinch her thigh and say, “Don’t you dare say anything.”

She would lean over the console and say, “Hey, are you a he or a she??”

This is kinda like when you pretend to be an expert in all areas of the law.

Maybe you can learn from your own posts.
