I have no doubt Iran has been rearming also with weapons and manpower .
We took this time to bring in more anti-drone tech. They are held hostage in their own country. They have certainly been digging out. Now we can strike there again thanks to them digging out. We have been gathering intelligence information. The cease fire when it ends will have benefitted us way more than them. They will likely be even weaker as divisions withing there ranks grows and defections/abandonment of post continue.

The only thing worse for China than Iran calling a truce and sharing joint custody of the Strait with the U.S. is if the regime collapses completely and the U.S. gets total control of the Strait.
That is why China has been sharing targeting ISR with Iran via Baidu.
That is why Xi is certainly not going to encourage Iran to maintain a standoff posture until a Xi meeting a full three weeks from now as the blockade deteriorates the regimes grip.
And that is why reports that Xi is the levelheaded impassive player here are almost certainly false.
Now that is not to say the Chinese won’t attempt to leverage the moment by making believe they are benevolent by diverting inbound energy shipments to more unfortunate importers who don’t have reserves.
But it does mean that escalation is more likely than not unless we are very close to the point of regime change.
I don’t think we are yet. And so I think things escalate from here regardless of the Xi meeting.

The question of the day, and the reason we initiated this conflict, is the claim Iran had X amount of Enriched Uranium and were X number of days away from a functional nuclear weapon.
Ehhhhhh......that's the spin that it has effectively been allowed to boil down to, but it is worth noting that we "completely obliterated" their nuclear capabilities just a few months prior.

For nearly 5 hours now, short armed clashes have been occurring in Tehran along the Babai Highway axis, which is the location of Vahidi's hiding place, the IRGC commander.
If the rabble in the street know where Vahidi is, then Mossad surely knows. I love that the Persian people continue to rat out the leadership.

It is rumored that Qalibaf and Araghchi have been arrested.
Nobody has commented on this little nugget. If true, it means the IRGC are tightening their grip. It also probably means their days are numbered.

Believe the continued ceasefire allows us to see how the new leadership structure shakes out for targeting intel & allow internal pressure on the regime to continue increasing without combat risk on our part.

IRAN JUST WENT INTO CRISIS MODE
The IRGC generals and commanders are OVER RULING Iranian officials in a power struggle and want to STRONG ARM Trump
The regime is now in CHAOS.
"There could be a coup. No one knows who's calling the shots. Vance, Witkoff, and Kushner were supposed to leave for Islamabad, but they never took off. Because the Iranian delegation never took off. Which is suspicious, because this morning, Trump said the gay ayatollah authorized the deal."
"So the gay ayatollah told his ministers, wheels up. But the military said, not so fast."
"We're basically looking at another Iranian hostage crisis. This time, they've taken themselves hostage. And therefore, the negotiations."
"The IRGC won't agree to sign over the Strait and the uranium. And they're the only votes that matter, because they're the ones with the guns."
"The generals are demanding Trump lift the blockade as a precondition for more peace talks. They want to play an economic game of chicken."
"It's the Iranians up against the clock. The blockades already cost them over a billion dollars. Checks are bouncing. And their economy is in a death spiral." — @JesseBWatters

I was kinda on the “pound them some more” train but thinking about it, letting the blockade cook is probably the best move. It costs us less money, they aren’t droning the gulf neighbors to spike oil prices and it’s likely spreading the fissures inside the organization further. They don’t want to admit weakness on the blockade, but we’ll see when they have to start capping wells.

I agree, they have had two weeks to respond and now they need just one more day? Come on. They are just buying time and making Trump look foolish. You can’t keep giving deadlines and then crawfish on the deal. And who knows if any real progress is being made, the reports have been all over the place. It’s time to make something happen

Wrong, Trump and our administration have been doing an excellent job on all fronts.

when wells have to be shut in, it is not a matter of turning the valves back on. they have to be reworked because they "sand up" at the bottom. That costs money.

All fronts is a little too much for me. While I agree with you the administration has done a great job, I think we might be letting them off a little too easy on these negotiations. They have stalled enough. I’m certain Trump and his team know this and aren’t going all out for a reason.
Regardless I think Trump did what was needed by going after them and I hope he can put this mess to rest soon.

The continuation has nothing to do with talks. The talks have never had anything to do with talks realistically.
The continuation is to see how the coup attempt progresses.
Why can't yall see this. The plan from day one was to bomb (weaken them) and then have them overthrown without putting boots on the ground. Have we done enough already? That is the question and that has been the entire reason for the cease fire. It has nothing to do with talks, unless by some miracle at this point they just surrender.

"Iran doesn’t want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open so they can make $500 Million Dollars a day (which is, therefore, what they are losing if it is closed!)."
"They only say they want it closed because I have it totally BLOCKADED (CLOSED!), so they merely want to “save face.” People approached me four days ago, saying, 'Sir, Iran wants to open up the Strait, immediately.' But if we do that, there can never be a Deal with Iran, unless we blow up the rest of their Country, their leaders included!"
Trump has all leverage at this point! Iran's leaders are in CHAOS
