I guess we will just have to make more then?
It doesn't take a lot of imagination or intelligence to realize that we can deploy these things much faster than we can manufacture them
Which is why they're referred to as stockpiles. We can't continue to replenish these stockpiles at the rate that we're burning through them
Trump did say he was stepping up the production of amo by 400% a few weeks ago.

Trump will be speaking soon today at the swearing in ceremony, he will probably have something very interesting to say to maybe shore up confidence in an agreement with Iran to end this war.
We have a lot of fire power and leverage there already and more on the way.

With that large fired heater nearby this looks like a naphtha reformer which produces hydrogen.
I read somewhere from a guy working out there, that a hydrogen compressor blew up and maybe that caused the Reformer Heater to catch fire.

re: Explosion Reported at Valero Refinery in Texas

From what little info I could find, it was just one heater but I don`t know the service or how critical it is to the continued refining operation.
Sometimes they can just bypass and rock on with little down time.
No injuries reported, thank god.

Non stop bombing of their military targets and there are still more being targeted. How many more can they possibly have?
Who knows how much more they have but that 5 days for negotiations Trump just told Iran may be the time the USA needs to carry out the remaining bomb targets.
Maybe after that we can taper off or stop the bombing on Iran if negotiations are good.

Build refineries that can handle our sweeter crude and this is all a non issue.
All refineries that can handle sour heavy crude can handle sweet crude already. So that is not an issue.

We have a daily shortfall of around 2.5 million barrels per day (bpd) between oil production vs what we consume.
We make up that shortfall mostly with oil from Canada and hopefully more from Venezuela as time goes on
This is not true. We make more oil than we use, however our refineries are not geared to refine that oil, so we import suitable oil and export even more West Texas oil.
Idiotically, we maintain, at great expense, a Strategic Petroleum Reserve. My guess is that we do that because politicians have mastered stealing from the fill and sell contracts. If we really wanted to insure ourselves from worldwide energy shocks - the supposed purpose of the SPR - we would sell all the SPR oil, shut down the SPR, andquote:
subsidize the retooling of American refineries to handle WTI (or build new
Refineries that are "alloyed up" (with stainless steel) on the internals of critical equipment can handle sweet crude or heavy sour.

If that's how any of this works we would have already done this years ago
We were not in position to do that years ago.
We seem to be now though.

If we disconnected from the international markets on oil we would not be vulnerable to what we see now.
We have all we need here so what`s the point of being in the international market.

Iranian People Uprising and taking over the government
mailman85
It's been several weeks now, you would think that a country of 92 million would have taken back the "government" and would have liberated themselves by now. It's almost as if our government has lied to us yet again, imagine that.
Trump told the Iranians to wait for the bombing to finish to start the overthrow. Unless somehow that initial message was changed by Trump.

Looks like they threw a tantrum over SA and launched 200+ drones recently. Highest in a minute. Death throws type stuff.
Have you heard anything about how many missiles they are launching per day now?
:usa: :geauxtigers:
What is Irans missile and drone strike count the last couple of days? It`s hard to keep up with.
Hopefully they will soon be down to sling shots with camel turds.

Trump did not want to have to attack Iran but with no regime change Iran was gaining more power and nuclear capabilities with the death to America regime in charge.
The longer we would have waited to deal with them the harder it would be to take them out.
It had to be done and Trump had the cojones to do it.

Maybe Nancy Pelosi has a line on when Hezballah and Iran are going to attack tankers so they can preload on futures trading.
Sounds like money machine.
WTIC just went back up to 94 bucks a barrel from being about 86 earlier before this.
I`m starting to get a gut feeling that things are about to escalate even more than they are already.
Iran is pissing a lot of the world off with their rockets and drones and some of these other middle eastern countries will not care who they kill or what infrastructure they bomb.

Regime change will take some time it looks like.
