From your posts, I think I have a pretty good handle on what you're all about, however one thing puzzles me.....
In this day and age, you're really not trying to sell this thought are you? At least not to the type of poster that would be reading/posting on the Tigerdroppings Political Talk board, what? This isn't Reddit.
Edit: I was curious so searched on percentage of working Americans with 401Ks. Most Americans do in fact have 401Ks. You may be an even bigger loser than we all realized. Tee-Hee-Hee.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Access to 401(k)s: 56.6% of workers (71.5 million) had access in 2023, up from 55.5% in 2022.
Participation rate: Among those with access, about 56% participated in retirement plans, based on U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data from March 2023.
Overall retirement account ownership: About 60% of Americans have a retirement savings account (such as a 401(k), IRA, or 403(b)), according to Gallup (2025).

Edit: then again most on here don’t have 401ks.

Did you wake up this retarded or is this a special occasion?

I can assure you, his level of retardation has nothing to do with either. His is a gift from God.
Edit, he's an alter troll. However, just the stamina required to continue to post the nonsense automatically qualifies him for a unique level of retardation.

Stamina and imagination. Only issue is his retarded assertions don’t stand up to any logic or examination. Which just makes him an average troll otherwise.

I don’t understand this? If we wiped out most of their Navy how do they have any control over the strait?

There are gun batteries along the shore and mines underwater if I'm not mistaken. I would assume this would be priority over the next day or two. I read somewhere that the straight is only a couple miles wide and the Iranians have the high ground along it...... for now

Another one.
Lloyd's of London is the reason.

Because they can attach glorified pipe bombs to 50k drones and cause as much havoc on the straight as they could with a navy. Also, they can probably lay just enough mines out there with fishing boats - that don't get blown out of the water first - to essentially make the straits impassable.
People mention the insurance and that is enough for the companies but perhaps not those in command of the vessels. Insurance can make a business whole but getting disfigured or killed when you didn't sign up to be a warfighter is a whole other deal.

These pentagon daily briefings scream smoke and mirrors.

The straight is 21 miles wide. The in bound and outbound shipping lanes are 2 miles wide each.

Sizzle reels of how big we can make things go boom ignores the realities that as long as Iran can produce cheap kamikaze drones and portable rocket launchers that they can harass the strait well enough to keep it closed for commercial use.
I've said it before: I think the only way out of this cleanly and quickly is for the US to do things that would be considered war crimes in the history books if we no longer are the victors writing them at some point in the future.
We're not going to pound their traditional armed forces into the dust and beat them. The head of the snake will just sprout a new one each time we decapitate it. We're getting a bit of the lesson Russia got regarding how cheaply and effectively a force can prosecute air strikes with drones in the 21st century.
