I don’t know if this fits here. I’ll just tell you what happened.

This is vastly condensed. I was working at a hospital in southern Mississippi. I worked ER and ICU. I was in ICU that night. I heard our chopper take off. The doc in the ER walked over and asked about our census and my availability. I was cleared to go to ER.

Our little town is right next to the interstate so we see a lot of bad wrecks.

The chopper landed and brought a child in. More were coming by ambulance. Apparently, multiple rollovers and no seatbelts. They popped out like popcorn.

We hooked everything up. Nothing. Shocked X 3 faint irregular heartbeat. So many bones broken. Very hard to ever determine a face. Brain visible. No brain activity.

But. Heartbeat.

Turns out dad had the kids. Don’t know where mom was but ER doc reached her. She made him an organ donor.

They showed up quick and he became their patient. They treated him with kindness, pity, and love.

I know this because he was my patient. And I’ll never forget it.

No wigs in my drain. Ever.

Money be damned.

I wonder if it’ll ring like a bell again.

She won’t ever run. There’s absolutely no possibility that she would win. Their cubbord is empty if this their best choice.

But honestly, who else? The idiot in California?

I just don’t see any choices unless a moderate dark horse emerges within a year or so. But I’m not an expert.

Otherwise, they are doomed to fail at the executive level.

The house and senate? I guess these depend on where you live and how lazy that you are if it’s a contested race.

Me neither. But this country is changing. So certain precautions should be made and accounted for. My husband limps and is weak on his left side with little short term memory due to a stroke.

When we go out together either in mccomb or Jackson or even here in Brookhaven, I keep my eyes open.

That’s all I’m saying.

You make good points. But I submit that I can’t even imagine living anywhere else. At least we can try to change the things that we don’t like and advocate for the things that we do like without getting shot at…most of the time. :usa:

We have two Toyotas. Both SUVs. Highlanders. Never had a problem with them both have been driven all over the country. Through mountain ranges and deserts. Always felt safe. Never a problem.

Newest one was delivered a year and a half ago. It’s a Platinum. The other one is a year older and it’s a limited.

The dealer has tried multiple times to buy one or both back from us over the past year due to low mileage, I guess.

Both are almost paid off. These will be our last vehicles. Legroom, grandchildren room, luggage, easy to fall asleep on the passenger side. Great cars.

She might be surprised at how a little work in the kitchen and simple ingredients could save her lots of money and the food would taste so much better.
