We have been printing money unchecked for the last 30 years.

While arming Kurds sounds great in theory

The Kurds attacking Persians and Azeris is the one thing that could drive the population back into the arms of the regime. If we use the Kurds we must discipline them to stay in their lands.

Yes we are. We are just paying for it by debasing our currency.

Could also bring Turkey into the conflict.

I doubt they have any desire to go any further than their traditional territory anyways

Key statements:

- “All US bases should immediately be closed in the region, those bases will be attacked”

- “We will obtain compensation from the enemy. If they refuse, we will take their assets to the extent we deem appropriate, and if that is not possible, we will destroy an equivalent amount of their property”

- "We have foiled attempts to divide the country”

- "The Strait of Hormuz must remain closed”

- “Countries in the region must clarify their position regarding those who have aggressed against Iran”

- "Discussions are ongoing regarding the opening of other fronts in areas where the enemy has little experience and is highly vulnerable. These other, new fronts may be activated if the state of war continues and if it is deemed appropriate”

In brief: He is more hardline than his father, his demands from the U.S. are extensive, and he is ready (one could say he prefers) a prolonged war.

Taking this statement at face value, things are about to escalate.

Iran is negotiating a way out of this.

both sides know the regime will survive.

Every country are putting pressure on US and Israel to end this now this is causing energy prices to spike.

Iran will give some concessions, and will return to making weapons soon.

this is over.

If this happens then the United States will have lost the war.

If (hopefully not) Democrats ever get back in charge, this will be their first priority.

Then they will open the border to all Iranians who wish to move to America.

And other than waving your arms, upon what sources do you make these naked statements?

When did the Gulf States get their defense systems installed and from whom did they get them? Also who were they planning on defending themselves from when they first got them? I don't trust them and hopefully they don't turn against us.

Only fools take any statement in war time at face value. Much less a tweet from some guy nobody has seen in quite a while. For all we know, that statement could've been written by some Mossad spy who is serving as official Iranian tweeter.
