There will be 25k deaths from this virus probably every year, just like the flu. Do people really think this is just going to disappear?

at the current rate of 3.1% the US would have to hit 800,000 cases, thus they would have to double from where they are at the moment, don't see that happening, so UNDER

Do you realize what would happen to TigerDroppings if everyone adopted this insane notion?

Average flu is 35,000. That would be a better o/u. I think it ends up around 40,000, FWIW.

Considering scientists who have studied the virus are saying the strands look the same in every case, and it doesn't have a high chance of mutating, yes it will likely all but go away with more and more treatment options and eventually a vaccine.

The seasonal flu strand changes every year due to antigenic drift. Which is why the flu vaccine composition must be updated every year to keep up with evolving influenza viruses.

How?

We're at 12k now, and have had 900+ deaths each for 7 straight days.

Flattening the curve doesn't mean when you peak, everything just stops the next day.

We aren't projected to peak for another week I believe, then the slow waning off of the numbers.

Trying to figure out how we'll come in way under, other than the deaths will just magically stop start in the next couple of days?

unless hundreds of thousands more suddenly get sick

there will only be around 15k total on record for the history books as a result of 2020 carona

as of the recorded dead right now there is proof nearly 50% or more are not deaths by carona but are still being incorectly counted as such

Oh, btw, Fauci and Brix just announced that they are including anyone testing positive as a Covid death. The very definition of padding numbers

So now that we are over 25,000 COVID-19 deaths in the US just a week later would you like to try again at setting an over under on COVID-19 deaths by the end of the year?

I’ll go with 65,000.

Before you make the claim that the death numbers are inflated find a reputable source.
