but the Disneys, Netflix, Apple, etc that make up a chunk of the entertainment monopolies will keep their foot on the pedal, regardless of how much they lose.
Disney does not have infinite money. They can't keep losing hundreds of millions every year. Deadpool 3 is going to make them face reality.
They will use the money from Deadpool and Wolverine and their other pre-woke hits to continue to fund their pet project movies that will continue to flop because of the ideology of those who make the decisions at the company.

Yes, I would absolutely agree they are feeling the pinch and are now making movies again that they know will turn a profit.
That does not mean the industry is shifting right. When the prestigious awards start getting doled out to “conservative” movies or even these summer blockbusters they’re making right now for profit, then we can say something is shifting.
They look down their nose at these kinds of movies and the people that pay to see them. You’re silly for thinking the culture of Hollywood is changing.

Agreed. Their goal is to change minds and they drive towards that as their ultimate goal. It's not about making money.

White bread, plain, non-offensive output isn't likely to win much in terms of artistic award (and that's not a recent thing). The only genre I can even think of that can do this is historical set pieces, which, funny enough, the Oscars love (which in turn devalues them as some signal of quality). These aren't often "conservative" though, just not really of high artistic merit.
Conservatism and valued art have never really been concepts that mix and have a large overlap.

The money maker has not often "looked down" at audiences (for reasons stated in OP).
Artistic output? Will look down on something as art is meant to be a critique of something.

Don't like the propaganda both overt and subtle but, that aside, the ability to create a good film has atrophied. It'd be cool if someone developed a streaming service, without the woke or censors, that could take all the stuff that will come out with the new tools available. I don't like AI but it will make a one person production possible and open it to people who haven't melted into the borg if liberal arts education.
