When Hollywood makes a movie about it? Get worried.

Once the grid goes down and supply chains are destroyed, people will die off fast.

nuclear apocalypse?
The dead will be the lucky ones. In the event of a nuclear apocalypse immediately there will be a lot of dead. The majority that survive in the metro areas will be either blind, deaf, or both from the flash and sound of the explosion. Anything with a microchip will become nonfunctional from the massive EMP. Think about that for a while. If the US were hit with just 3 equally spaced air blasts across the country, we'd be back to horse and buggy in an instant. No water, no electricity, no nothing. 90 days is just prolonging the inevitable.
There will be suvivors but very few out in the sticks that have water, game, and can survive on the land, a lost ability for the most part.

Certainly a possibility, especially with multiple nations saying the same thing.
Imo either way, something is about to happen.
The Bingo Card
1) EMP attack
2) Cyber attack
3) WW3
4) Terrorist attack
5) Israel detonates a Nuke
6) US Dollar collapses
7) Aliens?
8) China invades Taiwan
9) Iran cuts cables in SoH
10) New pandemic
11) North Korea?
12) Antarctica
13) * Shifting of Earth’s Axis
What am I missing? Sadly I do believe something is coming.. beats me what it is though.
eta: I am a Christian and I do believe Jesus will be returning soon. Tbd if that is 1 month or 50 years.. The math doesn’t really math past 50 years at this pace.

Look to the heavens ,the coverup is world wide.Look in the bible for the word WORMWOOD.

A full blown global nuclear war seems ridiculously improbable. A limited exchange of nukes involving Russia seems less unlikely but still improbable. That does not mean I haven't looked at fallout maps for my region and thought about a fallout shelter once or ten times.

Everyone should have at least a week of food in their pantry. I don’t care how poor you are. No excuse.

Hate to break it to you, but if you're only just now worrying about it, it's already too late to prepare. You can try though. If you are prepared and I just misread that, then good on you.
I'm well outside of "direct impact" zones but well inside the fallout margins depending on season/wind direction. Can't really escape it here. But we're ready to ride it out as best we can. Survive the initial blasts and outlast the predictable radioactive decay of fallout, and it just becomes a matter of constant vigilance and some adjustment to a Mad Max world.
Worried though? No. While likely earth-ending and completely catastrophic, thermonuclear mutually assured destruction would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than watching the continued stupification of the average American which is directly leading us into a collapse. The slow motion collapse is the far more likely scenario we'll witness.

My bet is #4 with a nuke and it gets blamed on a particular country and the retribution is more nukes.

Not at all. In elementary school, I was trained to get under my desk when the nuclear warning horns sounded. I’m good to go!

Live and work close enough to Barksdale that I have zero concern whatsoever about fallout.
