You better change Wal-Mart stores. My wife and I order some groceries from Wal-Mart. We have a pending order. Mrs Wright bacon (1.5 lbs) is $8.96 which is down from $12.00+ at its high point. That is still too high, but it is going in the right direction. I do not remember Mrs. Wright's bacon (1.5lbs) being $8.88 since Biden took office in 2021.

I cannot really say about beef prices, they do not affect me.

Eggs are $2.96 a dozen (Great Value large eggs) today at Wal-Mart

My wife and I buy basically the same grocery staples each month. Every month we would be depressed, prices were going up and was killing our fixed income budget. In March the increase in grocery costs was less. In April the costs stabilized. In May we saw our first decrease of about 10%.

Sounds like your Wal-Mart is not making their price changes timely; if so it is ripping its customers off.

I am over 70, most of my friends are over 70, my wife is over 70, and I do not know a single person that did not vote for Trump. Guess my crowd are just weird maga supporters who love Trump.

The nature of parasites is to grow and thrive by living off the host while weakening and destroying the host. Getting rid of parasites is a disgusting and painful process, but is necessary for the survival and well-being of the host. Time to get rid of the worms, however painful in the short term.

I have friends who have laying chickens. He and his wife has an abundance of eggs. Fresh organic eggs from unvaccinated, non medicated hens. They will not let us pay for the eggs.

1). Got a load of firewood, stacked firewood--2). Shoveled snow from drive and sidewalk and scraped snow off car--3). Bought lumber and mesh to build covers for strawberry beds--4). Hung patio lights on storage shed and deck--5). Got top soil and fertilizer for garden and flower beds.

Retirement is tough.

Incandescent lights have purposes beyond just being more pleasant. I use them in small greenhouses for heat in cold weather, cover flowering fruit trees to protect from frost, and light and hear for seeding flowers and vegetables in cold weather.

Outside and inside incandescent Christmas lights are much nicer. Led lights have an ugly halo around them.
