Putting that aside, the Feral Government regularly ignores the existing Constitution. Why would it suddenly adhere to a new one?

The Soviet Union had a Constitution. Lack of adherence to the Constitution itself is not the issue; hollow proceduralism — empty allegiance to parchment — is the problem.

Fortunately, we were bequeathed with tools by the nation’s founders to fight the tyranny we now see in Washington D.C. If Liberty is to continue in this once great nation, it will indeed arise in nullification, subsidiary and secession movements in the individual states.

This thread was extremely entertaining and enlightening incredibly so in some places. Of course you have your few usuals no one wants around pop up for their mandated bs but all in all I think this was very constructive. I do think some people are underselling the value of a convention

And to people posting things like “we can’t define the deep state” or “it’s a nebulous concept” I chose the title as a direct refutation to the top topic at the time saying “Trump will break up the deep state”

Convention would be hard to get to but I hope we see one - I am 100% confident that DC would try to scuttle it or sabotage it in some way. There is probably nothing else that would finally convince people that our government sees the People as an adversary and as a group of subjects, than to undermine a constitutional convention.

There will never be anything close to some kind of revolution in America while a man who works for the Post Office and his wife who works at the local school bring home 100k (combined), have two cars, clean water, enough stuff to keep them happy like everything from Boy Scouts to Little League to 400 channels of Direct TV. And they live in a house that is warm in the winter, air conditioned in the summer and everyone has their own bedroom. 99 percent of the world has none of this (oh, I forgot to mention, a five year old - or perhaps newer - car, maybe not a Mercedes, but a nice Hyundai).

There is no spirit of revolution in America and there will not be until the heat gets turned off or the water stops running and that is not going to happen.
