NBC News has confirmed @nakashimae
's great scoop that U.S. Cyber Command blocked internet access at the IRA troll farm during the 2018 midterms, an operation that under normal circumstances would have to be approved by the president.

NBC News has now confirmed that President Trump personally signed off on this offensive cyber operation against a Russian troll farm. He had authorized the broader campaign, but he also approved this op in particular, per a source with direct knowledge.

Good. That's the kind of thing we are supposed to be doing to try our best to make our elections our own decisions. We should also be improving the security of the voting databases and the voting machines.

I'm not saying that any of this will improve our decision making. It's just that we should make our own mistakes and not allow outside hostile agents to manipulate us into making our own mistakes.

Russian collusion is just a delusion. But, Russian interference, causing dissent, etc.. is very, very real.

Same for China, Iran, and North Korea. Why do we never hear about them, though?

Follow the money.

Glad you agree with all that. Now, would you through in voter ID to the mix?
