HIPAA wouldn't apply to a lefty nurse who overheard some campaign strategy details (as an example) running her mouth to some twat she knows at HuffPo.

It applies to literally everyone working for the hospital.

It would be a very ineffective law if it didn’t apply to lefty nurses spying on patients.

Whose fault is it that Trump has to CONSTANTLY worry about leakers? I guess that's on Trump too.

You can lose your license and be fined for violating HIPAA, but there are certain things not protected under HIPAA. That's where the NDA comes in.

Weve been subjected to four year of FELONY leaks. You think a DA in the capital is going to go after some nurse for a HIPPA violation? Trump needs to protect himself at all times.

Case in point. The dems are STILL repeating the Paris cemetery lie. Harris brought it up again last night.

Since you seem to know: Campaign strategy has no bearing on the President's health or medical treatment. Which HIPAA title is violated if said lefty nurse reveals details of an overheard conversation to the press?

I admit I have not kept up with the details of his daily ingestion. Can you provide a link to his menu? Is this published for a daily, weekly, or monthly basis?

I will be fascinated to read it. TIA for the link.

and lawyers aren't supposed to disclose anything...and accountants...and IRS...but they all leaking shite to people. I don't blame him for getting extra coverage. Legal system is filled with commies who won't prosecute anything if it helps a conservative.

This is so dumb. No medical professionals can blab. Good for Trump putting 2 protections on his medical records going out.

SMART! As I could see a "Call me Lt. Col Vindman" leaking medical records.

Obama & Clinton, no past President has put their medical records out.

A statement of health is all that is needed.

The press has been releasing classified material from anonymous sources for years. HIPAA isn't going to stop them.

He realized way before 2019 that he can trust nearly no one. I don’t blame him.

I agree with you, but regulation didn’t stop the people who leaked his tax “information.”

A little extra legal ammo never hurts.
