if less than 1000 people make policy for 330 million....
The only standing daily employees authorized by the US Constitution are the military.
The entirety of the alphabet soup agencies of the FedGov need to be dissolved. None are Constitutional (except by amendment the IRS and that was a mistake the people made). These alphabet agencies run America, and none are accountable to the people.

Everytime I think I'm solid on being against abortion someone like you comes along and makes me rethink my position.

Sounds like you have numerous options to where you can move.

America has become the standard by which other countries compare. I assume your all woke because of the Denver shooting. Imagine it everyone in there was a 2A toting citizen. Automatic rifles out of your hands only means those getting them illegally will have the upper hand.
Regardless you seem very irrational and I'm certain this will do nothing to make you think.

Seriously, no other nation in North America, North and Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand (basically the civilized world ) allow semi-automatics to be sold freely like consumer durables at a super market.
Like England where they created a registry in 1921 and eventually they eliminated basically all gun ownership over time.
Like Nazi Germany where they created a registry and 2 years later the Nazis swept into power and confiscated all guns from opposition.
Like Venezuela where they created a registry and then Chavez confiscated all the guns so there is no way to topple the Socialist.
Like Canada, Australia and New Zealand where they created a registry and then used them to confiscated all the weapons.....
Why do you hate freedom when history has shown exactly what happens every single time they create registries or licenses?

How many dictators and communist regimes took over and every continent and country you listed because the citizens were not armed? Ever think about that jack arse

Only the gov enforcements should have guns then?
Ya see what happened past year? The politically motivated bosses of countless cops, said that cops aren't obligated to protect anyone. Cops stood back and watched as cities burned, for months. People were murdered during those riots. Countless people were brutally attacked. Cops didn't do shite.
State level Democrats have already set the precedent of using their police forces as political tools.

Why does the government get to tell people what to do? They aren't our rulers. They are simply representatives. Too many people forget that and think that government needs to be obeyed no matter what with unquestioning loyalty. Screw that. The supreme law of the land is the Constitution, which currently outlaws about 90% of what our government is doing. Hell, a President can start a war at any time now and typically fails to secure congressional approval. Why should the President have access to million of life taking weapons and me, an equal, not have access to a handful. We live in the land of freedom, where one has the unalienable right to protect himself. To be honest, there should be NO LAW regulating firearms without first going through the constitutional process.

We need to ba gun-free zones, not guns.
If the supermarket yesterday wasn't a gun free zone, this wouldn't have happened.
If you are going to call yourself a gun free zone, you need to be held liable when you allow terrible things to happen in your establishment.

You know you can buy and drive a car without a license and you won’t be ticketed, fined, or arrested unless you are caught driving recklessly. Kind of like how most states handle guns.
In TX, I can own a gun without a license, but can get ticketed, fined, or arrested if I take it off of my property or out of my car. Y’know, like if I use it recklessly...

Name a civilized country that places armed police within the homes of the citizens to protect the citizens

All of those other civilized Utopia's you cited are ready to receive you and your family. L-E-A-V-E.
If being FREE is so God damned miserable, LEAVE.
Our Founder's were willing to shed blood for Freedom. They didn't flee England to search out new forms of tyranny and government control.

Are you suggesting otherwise?
