Thanks.
Kid shouldn't follow a modest school rule and shouldn't be mildly consequenced. Got it.

Your kid should be forced to learn astrology. No science behind it at all. It's never predicted shite. But hey, it sounds cool. So you should obey, plebe.

I used to get in trouble for not tucking my shirt in...being taught to follow dress code is good for kids.

Gotta start them early if you want to properly brainwash and indoctrinate them.

This is a public school. I'm sure the teachers are lucky if they can get half the class to wear their pants above their thighs.

I'm sure you're double masking it right now, aren't you?

For just a moment, set aside your personal disagreement with the specific school rule at issue. Imagine a DIFFERENT rule ... one with which you DO agree (e.g. no throwing erasers at other students during class).
How do you envision a school district being able to enforce that rule, if the District is precluded from inflicting any punishment for violations?
You think his issue is a general complaint with the application of rules?
If so, you are a dumbass.

Discuss your concerns with the teacher/school.

Mildly consequenced? Are you high? Punish work, EXCLUDED from school fun day events, will not receive good behavior award at year end. You think this is minor for a child? Sitting in the lunchroom while all his friends are enjoying the games and fun jumps and stuff during fun day? Punish work? Losing an award he's never missed since kindergarten?

Our school has done away with masks. But it’s located in the great free country of Mississippi

Even more reason to not bow down to liberal pseudoscience.
How much are you paying for that shite each month?

As was the teacher for being briefly exposed to a kid with a mask a few inches away from his face. I'm not even sure how she made it through the day after that. Frightening

I know you post a lot of stupid shite, but this may very well be the dumbest thing you have posted... at least today.

Certainly this is true. The school I attended was a public school (this was the 1970s). Back then our teachers made us do crazy things like tuck in our shirt tails, wear our pants correctly, etc. since then things have gone downhill..partly or maybe even mostly because parents don’t want anybody telling their babies what to do at school.
I hate masks, but if it’s the rule they wear them, my kid will wear a mask. If the teachers aren’t doing it properly, I’d address that as well but not involve the kid. If the rule is being selectively enforced, also something I’d address.

I figured this was the case based on your OP. It’s just a question.
