You’ve named rules that have specific benefits. There is no benefit, save forcible control, to requiring kids to wear masks.

I’ve a rule: your kid is going to stand all day and won’t be allowed to sit in a desk. It’s a rule, and it serves no purpose, so you’d be cool with it because I’m the authority and I’ve dictated it as such?

Hell of an assumption on your part. I will ABSOLUTELY defend my child from policies and procedures I disagree with. It's very rare I disagree with anything done in school but this is a special case. I am 100% the type of parent who will punish my kid on top of the school punishment when it's warranted. I.E. Bad grades, misbehavior, etc. But this is something entirely different. There is no proven science masks work, ESPECIALLY in kids. They just might do more harm than good.

frick off for assuming I'm a parent who "always" defends thier kid.

Yeah, that is exactly like what I posted.

Furthermore, we have no context. Is the kid generally a good kid who had the mask under his nose twice in a day and the teacher is a progressive idiot?

Is the kid a problem kid who is being purposefully defiant of the rule and the teacher is behaving semi-rationally?

NOPE

I’d head straight to the Principal’s office and have a very frank discussion about the tyranny of education and how it is designed to emasculate boys.

I would also become this teacher’s worst damned nightmare as being the parent from hell from this point forward. I would challenge absolutely everything she does or does not do. Make her life absolutely miserable.

Ps. Masks don’t fricking work. They are Personal Protective Equipment not universal protective equipment as they’ve been portrayed.

Sounds like that teacher needs to stop trying to seduce your kid.

Thoughts?

Did these tax money chasers change the handbook or outline their requirements in writing of this rule? Specific guidance given on the “proper” way to wear a mask?

If not... demand they hand you a copy of it.... when they can’t.... demand they offer an apology and exonerate you child.

Then pull your kid from school or deal with their rules. Freedom of choice, ultimately.

Pretty much the same. Teachers rule, and you need to sit the frick down, shut the frick up, and take your raping like a man.

Or is it "like a woman" these days. With the 57 genders you morons support, it's hard to tell these days.

If you are able to, just pull him out of school on those days and go fishing or something.

I would like to see how class disruption and fighting is handled... Also, if there are cultural excuses and alternatives at this particular school...

For just a moment, set aside your personal disagreement with the specific school rule at issue. Imagine a DIFFERENT rule ... one with which you DO agree (e.g. no throwing erasers at other students during class).

How do you envision a school district being able to enforce that rule, if the District is precluded from inflicting any punishment for violations?

Now that's being contrarian just for the sake of being contrarian right there

Correct. Is this punishment being universally applied? Are the staff following the same guidance with the same vigor they are enforcing it with the kids?

Wearing a mask is like a raping? You seem emotional and irrational ma'am.

He's almost 9. Has NEVER gotten a disciplinary note/call/infraction nothing. Makes good grades and recently got the award for integrity and honesty in his class.

That clear it up for you?

Apple /?Orange here I would think. Throwing erasers is no way comparable to pinching the mask to pull it out of your lips especially for a group of people that literally has the lowest rates of catching or passing the glorified flu . I’d be more upset if the child didn’t do this to help out the hearing of one’s voice

Pretty much. No science behind it, just doing what your liberal bosses tell you to do.

I'm sure you're double masking it right now, aren't you? Because Fauci told you to.

Every day, when I drop them off in the car line I see several teachers laughing and talking with masks around thier chins.
