Continuously repeating this does not make it true. We have video proof he broke policy and you’re just choosing to ignore that.

Scumbag pig.

He's not even the worst. Rt3 thinks Chauvin should be given his badge and gun back.

It would be argued that is a common complaint heard all the time whenever a suspect is subdued.

That would be interesting if Floyd didn’t die. But, he died. What other suspects do is irrelevant in this case.

How do you know that's a lot? Are those complaints from the arrested? If they are, I'd expect there to be more than 28. Generally people aren't happy about being arrested and a not so small number will bother to complain.

That sense of “this is wrong” is a powerful catalyst for action.

There is no doubt about that, and the timing plays a part too. People are already on edge due to the pandemic. I do wonder if the video had been released further into re-opening whether it would have had the same effect.

Yep, no matter what they will always stick together and that’s the major issue with the pigs.

Wow you’re fricking stupid. How can you watch that video and not come away with the fact that the pig killed him? It’s obvious he went against the policy (that you just so happened to leave off all of it). You’re a low IQ individual and a POS bootlicker. Go frick yourself.

Typically, people who resort to immediate name calling are the ones with the lower IQs. There is nothing posted on this Board by me that insulates the officer is not culpable. My only stance from the get-go is to be cautious about the cause & manner of death, and that’s what it has remained. I think where we stand to this day bears witness that I’m not off base on that.

One “expert” quoted in a news story I read said that number is higher than normal.

I don't hate cops. I'm indifferent towards them. I'm just calling like I see it and that falls under the "really fricked up" category.

According to the Minneapolis Police Policy Manual, the restraint used was in policy and it also indicates that training is given to officers on the maneuver.
Am I the only one who has seen it done multiple times? The knee to the neck and full body weight on an arrestee’s back(keeping them from breathing) seems pretty normal protocol to me.

This isn’t surprising at all.

Every cop, former cop, former FBI agent I heard on tv said this is never ever the correct procedure

If that’s in the manual then cop gets off I’m betting. Wow.

Doesn’t give you free reign to do it for 10 minutes including some time to an unconscious and then dead body as a restraint technique

I can't say that I've dedicated any specific time to researching this subject, but I talk to a whole bunch of people who were arrested. And they do not hold back when it comes to recounting the events before, during and after their arrest. If they can complain about something like this (treatment during arrest) they certainly will. And personally I just haven't heard many complaints that would or could form a decent basis for official complaint. I mean, nobody cares for being arrested of course, but it's a large jump over to an accusation of excessive force or the like.

Long story short, 28 documented complaints sounds like a lot to me.

You don't know much about CPS...

CPS removing kids for no reason

But then again, that wasn't the point of my response. To say there would never be a reason to resist arrest and then to say you deserve to die if you do would make you king of the cucks around here, so I'm sure that's not what you meant to say...

He doesn’t. There are photos not altered that you can see his gloves. I found one picture so far where the gloved hands were pixelated on purpose

It's not high and right to tell the truth. So here it is. (1) Cop should have released the knee. (2)I would have removed my knee and let the guy breath and had my hand on a baton or worse. But again if he is guilty so are all the cops protecting him while he did it. And the other police who have used he same restraint. And the trainers and all the supers who ok'ed the knee as well as the chief and mayor.

And you can be sure a lot of the knee restraints were not reported. It was obvious watching the video that it was an accepted by police action.

I once saw a brawl where a policeman flat out told one of the brawler's who tried to attack him "I'm not paid to fight" while holding his hand on his unsnapped pistol. So don't fight them is my first advice because you will then possibly die. And let even a thug who is combative breath man is my advice to the cop. That's part of your job even if fighting them is not.

Sorry to burst your anti-cop crusade, but if it's in that manual the dude is walking, and those other officers are getting their jobs back.

Is it in the manual to do it while they are handcuffed on the ground?
