That's what MSNBC told him though. So, he'll just blindly repeat it.

Most Undocumented NOLA Migrants Came There to Rebuild After Katrina

Most of NOLA citizens lost everything because of Katrina. Then they had to helplessly watch illegals come in and take the jobs that they needed, to begin putting the pieces back together

This came directly from NOLA locals interviewed on NPR this morning. It raises a good point - the city was devastated 20 years ago and couldn’t have bounced back without thousands of laborers.

Do we now turn on our neighbors who helped rebuild?

Something to think about…

Of course send them back. They had twenty years to become legal citizens. frick em' if they haven't done it by now.

No thought to be given.

They were here illegally.

Make it right throw them out.

Didn't they get paid for this work? Americans should have had those paying jobs.

they not applied for citizenship in 20 years

/\ THIS /\ is the most salient fact in the whole affair.

Now, if there is some potential mitigation of having done this, then I am all for exploring that for those who may have a rational excuse.

There was no initiative for illegals to "rebuild the city" after katrina.

This is all just appeal to emotion excuses for breaking the law.

Tornado hits your neighborhood and damages your home. I come to help rebuild (for a paycheck). After the work is completed, do I then get to move in with you and stay?

If you leave the country and never come back I'll buy an illegal family of your choosing a house in NOLA ;)

How about having the sorry, lazy locals rebuild their own city? How about the locals not voting for thieves who steal the resources needed to prevent tragedies and recovery? If you are here, FOR ANY REASON, illegally, then you have to go back!

First off I’d guess the vast vast majority of them were not around for the rebuild

Secondly, you had 20 years to get your shite together and quit breaking the law. Fafo

Not really anything to think about.

They are here illegally.

They are sucking up our resources and will eventually bankrupt our country if we let it go unfettered.

I don't care what they did, it is time to go home now.

GTFO!!

No hesitation.

Not Sorry.

GO!!!!
