So you don't believe the actual history of Western Ukraine being run by Nazi nationalists that cruelly treated Eastern Ukraine due to its Russian sympathies? A commonly accepted historical fact up until two years ago.

So commonly accepted it was the premise of Oliver Stone’s “Ukraine is Fire” documentary from 2016 in which he presented historical documents also proving the USA sided with the Nazis.

You know, the famed conservative right wing extremist Oliver Stone…oh wait…he is a hard core lefty.

In case you weren’t aware. The Super Bowl is on Sunday.

It’s kinda easy for more people to have watched that when the Super Bowl has yet to be played this year.

Tucker can get blinded and biased, but his voice is important. He usually backs up his claims with some evidence and facts, and can sometimes admit when he is wrong. He can also get overly emotional, but some topics require emotion to push back against the Overton Window.

Yeah, what was Tucker’s own defense said about his use of “facts”

quote:

When Tucker Carlson says on his show “[r]emember the facts of the story; these are undisputed" no reasonable person would believe that he was about to state facts. At least, that was Tucker Carlson's own argument in defending himself from a libel suit.

110 million on Twitter alone

110 million people didn't watch this. They scrolled past it on twitter. Imagine how many people are going to scroll past Super Bowl content.

First off, that was a great and thoughtful response. Pretty accurate as well.

To answer the question you posed:
quote:

What was so special about Ukraine that made it different from Lithuania or Turkmenistan or Romania?

The difference is the "ten percent for the big guy" wasn't coming from Lithuania, Turkmenistan, or Romania.

That's an impression. Usually, impressions are 10 times the views. Views have to be clicked and watched for a certain period of time.

I'm not sure why this is so hard to comprehend. It's commonly known by anyone who has ever posted content.

Which point do you disagree with and why?

Let's start with the russian version of history.

Ukraine is not hisorically a part of Russia. Russia is historically a part of Ukraine.

How far back is the cut-off point for history? Just so we're clear on what goal posts you want to use.

He didn’t say anything overly controversial. It’s doing the interview at all that was “controversial”

Guess you didnt watch then

Putin insinuated that Russia has been putting in effort to join the west and be accepted rather than be an enemy and that in response, the US only antagonized Russia and pulled the rug out several times.

He said the US was sponsoring terrorism in the Caucuses.

He said that the US orchestrated a coup in Ukraine in 2014 and that Ukraine is a US satellite state

He said he asked to join NATO, was given a positive response by Clinton, then shut down by the State Dept

He insinuated that the US controls most of the global media

He claimed that he wanted to jointly do missile defense with Europe and the US but was denied. He claims he was told that missile defense was geared towards Iran.

He claims that Ukraine celebrates Nazis and men who worked with the Nazis to kill Poles, Jews and Russians

Insinuated that the CIA destroyed Nord Stream pipelines

Claimed that Ukraine is an artificial state that is has a fragmented Russian, Hungarian and Polish culture

There was plenty he said that would be news to the average Joe in the US

Do you even know what “Ukrainian” originally meant?

quote:

Borrowed from Polish Ukraina or Russian ?????´?? (Ukraína), from Old East Slavic ???????? (ukraina), which is most commonly taken to have meant "borderland, marches" in this context

How can something that was, by definition, named after being a “borderland” be the motherland?

Yes, and 7 of those have more viewers live than this interview has had people even click on it for whatever proscribed time. That does not include viewers who watched reruns of highlights etc. Last year there were over 115 Million viewers.

Even with the new math, 115 is greater than 110.

According to Elon Musk...

Twitter is rolling out View Count, so you can see how many times a tweet has been seen! This is normal for video.

Shows how much more alive Twitter is than it may seem, as over 90% of Twitter users read, but don’t tweet, reply or like, as those are public actions.

quote:

Anyone who views your Tweet counts as a view, regardless of where they see your Tweet (e.g. Home, Search, Profiles, Tweets embedded in articles, etc.) or whether or not they follow you. Even an author looking at their own Tweet counts as a view.

You are not telling me that you actually believe that about 40% of America has watched that interview. It is falso data.

You know you can buy impressions, right?

Like - through this company and others? Sure it will cost you a few thousans dollars, but it will get people who don't know any better to think you are much more popular than you are....you fell for it too...
