re: MSY Parking Question

Posted by runforrestrun on 4/28/26 at 12:01 pm to
I fly out of MSY semi regularly. I've always used USPark at the end of Veterans. I've never had a problem. The shuttle meets you at your car & takes you to the terminal in less than 10 mins. They're usually a shuttle there waiting upon my return.

Buena Vista Cafe is a classic- the original irish coffee.

Exactly. The entire campus reeked last year during the Southern/Lsu game. I hope this happens.

the shuttle is also for the economy garage

Forgot about that. I always use USPark

$84.5 million Express Shuttle Connector Road,

Why not spend that money on a new rental car facility at the new terminal to eliminate the need for a shuttle?

I did Ancestry DNA several years ago. I'm 1% African. It also set off of chain of events for me to meet my biological father & sister.
The existing carriers have attempted to expand service in BTR over the years & can't fill a 50 passenger plane. AA has cut back the DCA flight to just a few days a week. I doubt Southwest ever starts service here. MSY is just too close to much of the BTR market. I've always been curious as to what % Southwests MSY passengers are actually from BTR.
Tuscany Italian Bistro. Order the lobster ravioli if they have it.

Drivers on Hwy 30 are the worst. 55 Speed limit, perfectly straight road & they go 45 and slow to 30 if they see oncoming traffic.

If you don't carry a lot of cards, I highly recommend Ekster popup wallets

There absolutely was a Frostop location nearby

Yep I remember that one. There was a small resurgence of Frostop in the late 80's and they opened that location near Broadmoor and one in Denham. Neither lasted too long.

Campisi's on Mockingbird was frequented by Jack Ruby.
Sounds like the plot line in Midnight in Paris. They should remake it as Midnight In Livingston Parish.
