That started several hundred years before Ukraine was named. Further, this contradicts what you just posted.

It’s controversial because the media will never report that the US/UN forced Russias hand to invade Ukraine. Any man with a spine in Putins shoes would have done the same thing.

Wrong. If you were a President of Russia and not an ex-KGB paranoidal person you would have said you have no problem with NATO being in Ukraine since you already have several NATO countries on your border and NATO is nothing to worry about. In fact, if I were President of Russia, I would say that I would like to renew talks with you about joining NATO myself, but it will probably take 20 years because we (Russia) have a lot of reforms we need to do.

Star with reforming the brutal basic training (which trains for nothing and trains no-one) as a starting point.

You are not telling me that you actually believe that about 40% of America has watched that interview. It is falso data.

You know you can buy impressions, right?

Like - through this company and others? Sure it will cost you a few thousans dollars, but it will get people who don't know any better to think you are much more popular than you are....you fell for it too...

How quickly have we forgotten that Russia purchased many facebook ad to support Trump in 2016, if Russia wanted this video to have millions of "views", they could easily have that done

Tucker giving Putin 2 hours to explain his side to the American people was a good thing. It did seem like more of a press conference/lecture than an interview tho. But you take what you can get. There's no logical reason people shouldnt be allowed to hear putin speak.

What would you have said if Tucker Carlson or some other "journalist" interviewd Osama Bin Laden for an hour and allowed him to talk and talk and talk and talk about how evil America and Christianity is?

Did you watch the interview?

Americans connect to Bin Laden as the guy who killed 2k Americans on our own soil.

Putin doesn't talk about evil America and doesn't trash Christianity. He speaks about numerous times about how he wants to be friendly with the US. Bill Clinton was going to accept a friendship with them and the powers that be said no. Believe whatever you want but the 2 hour interview didn't come off at all as a hate America thing.

Yea people who didn't get the first part of the interview clearly don't understand how Europeans (and Middle Easterners for that matter) think about history The American mindset on history is much shorter (and dumber I might add).

Here's 1000 years of border changes, just in Europe.

At which point should it have stopped and been forced to be static forever?

The same people whining about this are the same ones wringing their hands about "stolen land".

I'd be fine with it. I'm all for freedom of speech. Better to hear their point of view and work from there than to censor it so they talk with terrorist attacks.

Plus it's good to know which of my peers believed everything putin said so I can tell how gullible they are.

According to OP this will be the most watched broadcast in American history soon. They are probably showing it to children in classrooms across America as we speak

Not bin Laden, but Here is a link to an interview that Dan Rather did with Sadaam Hussein in 2003 for 60 minutes

LINK

I personally don’t remember a lot of social media posts defending, much less outright championing, Sadaam afterwards.

Putin starts around 800 in his history talk.

So if we start when Putin starts, the Norsemen have navigated down to Ukraine, established themselves as kings in Kiev, then expanded their kingdom north and east to enventually envelop Moscow and the current Western Russian territories.

They ruled all of that territory from Kiev until the Mongol invasion, which destroyed the Kievyan Rus Kingdom for good, leaving only the Duchy of Moscow because they caved to the Mongols like Savannah did to Sherman. Like Cowards.

Moscow and that whole part of Russia was a backwater shite hole until that point. Ukraine was the historical beginning of the "Russian" peoples and culture.

Dont worry, the US propaganda will tell you what is true and what is not.

here is a hard-hitting fact check.

quote:

Who banned peace talks?
What he said: “The president of Ukraine has legislated a ban on negotiating with Russia.”

Why he’s wrong: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree banning negotiations specifically with Putin, not Russia as a country.

“With this Russian president, it is impossible. He does not know what dignity and honesty are. We are ready for dialogue with Russia, but with a different president,” Zelenskyy said.

If you scrolled past a generational interview than you're a child. Regardless of the content and your own opinions, this is something you watch.
