People can die from allergic reaction to Tylenol. But the 99% majority will be fine. Same with measles. I do feel sorry for the little girls family just as I feel sorry for people who go into anaphylactic shock after taking a safe drug like Tylenol or a food allergy.

Everyone’s body is different but widespread panic and outrage over statistically low possibilities is why people don’t trust it.

The rise of chicken pox shots drove us to it, you could skip the shot without questions if you had natural immunity.

I was still breastfeeding my daughter and we weren't successful in getting her to catch it, lol- definitely tried though! Still skipped the shot with a waiver.

Does this mean it killed unhealthy people?

There have been rare cases of deaths from vaccine side effects among children who are immune compromised, which is why it is recommended that they don’t get the vaccine.

Why did you leave the part out that says the vaccines kill children?

And seeing as everyone has something wrong with them these days, you would think all kids are immune compromised now.

Yeah right. Why don't you show that clip to the grieving families that just lost hitter two little girls to the measles out break in west Texas? Death counts of now is 2 dead out of just 700 cases. All because they listened to the idiot MMR vaccine deniers who have blood on their hands spreading such claptrap bullshite. Even RFK jt says it's safe and effective... Measles are highly contagious and can be deadly and the outbreak is spreading.... More blood to come.

Measles virus does not exist in the wild in the US. It comes from people that have visited overseas or illegals that have come here that have not been checked for carrying infectious diseases. Secondly, the vaccine is a live measles virus. That means the vaccinated are shedding and infecting others with the virus. The side effect listed on the manufacturer's warning label is "measles" lol. Thirdly, in both cases of measles death, it was due to hospital negligence in not following proper protocol. Carry on carrying the torch for big pharma.

Very cute, but measles can be fatal, and there have been deaths recently that should have been avoided.

Are we going back to a version of the40’s and 50’s paranoid conspiracy
theories about commies p”poisoning”
our water supply with fluoride? It’s very similar with crackpot RFK, Jr.’s unhinged pronouncements.

It’s like hey found the worst case and now just use it for fear mongering.

A woman living in rural northwestern Washington has died from measles, state health officials said Thursday. It’s the first U.S. death in a dozen years.

There was also the Disney outbreak.

quote:

California health authorities on Friday declared an end to a large measles outbreak that started at Disneyland and triggered a national debate about vaccinations. Disease detectives for months raced to contain the highly contagious disease, which surfaced at Disney theme parks in December and spread to a half-dozen U.S. states, Mexico and Canada. The outbreak sickened 147 people in the U.S., including 131 in California. There were no deaths.

quote:

Doctors blame the Disney outbreak on parents who have chosen not to vaccinate their kids for philosophical reasons. California, especially, has communities where affluent, well-educated parents have banded together and decided not to vaccinate. They question the safety of the vaccine and the motivations of the government.

quote:

The case count for the measles outbreak linked to Disneyland is steadily ticking upwards. Health officials in more than a dozen states are tracking down thousands of people to try to make sure they don’t spread the virus any further.

It sounds bad, but European health officials say they’re looking at the United States with envy.

To them, America's current total of just over 100 measles cases looks comparatively good.

quote:

Last year, Europe had 3,840 measles cases. Italy alone had 1,921 cases. And that’s an improvement over 2013, when there were more than 10,000 cases across Europe. France has had more than 23,000 cases in the past five years.

In comparison, the United States last year had 644 measles cases in 27 states. That’s the most since measles was declared eliminated in the U.S. in 2000.

The reasons for the outbreaks is someone brings it in from another country.

So Democrats and world travelers put every single immune compromised child at risk.

Well sure, look at hysterica old Gman freaking out about little 4 year old girls dying out of unbridled ignorance and fear mongering.

And your equally unbridled ignorance and fear-mongering actually hurts your cause.

Measles deaths aren't even in the top 20 of mortality rates for children 10 and under.

Yes, it's tragic that this happens and ridiculous that people and pushed their rightful skepticism of MRNA vaccines onto live attenuated ones, but to belabor it like this is another pandemic (especially when our population is still well over 90% vaccinated) is ridiculous.

As another poster sort of mentioned, your ire would be far better used if it were aimed at those who pushed the COVID vaccine as a panacea (ie: causing people to lose faith in the virology/vaccination fields) than it is towards parents who are now questioning the efficacy of all vaccines because of those COVID-era actions. Also, as the OP's post pointed out, measles were considered a largely minor issue prior to its vaccine, but now that we have a handful of deaths the media is going to portray it as being the next Black Plague. Your stance and aggressiveness are proof that it's already working.

At least, unless I missed your similar stances about unintentional injuries, cancer, firearm-related injuries, congenital anomlalies, homicides, heart diseases, influenza, pneumonia and chronic lower respiratory diseases (all of which cause far more deaths of infants and young children in the US than measles).

All we had to do is not let Biden open the border and flood the country with third world diseases.

How about when we allow 21 million people from third world countries into our country, we actually test them for diseases before allowing them entry? People are wondering why everybody seems sick these days, it’s because the democrats let 21 million into our country without vetting them for crimes and diseases

And you now act concerned about disease?

I think you Biden morons can sit this one out.

it was not because of any of this. it was because of medical mismanagement. in both cases the doctors didn't treat the pneumonia correctly and thats what ultimately did them in. in the most recent case they outright didnt treat it at all. they gave her antibiotics at the hospital and then told the parents to go home, but didnt prescribe anything further to take at home knowing they were releasing her from the hospital while she still had pneumonia. also, the girl was diagnosed with strep and mono before measles.

So there are no deaths due to the MMR vaccine? I don’t know. Tell me.

Are the people who have died this year, did they die of measles or with measles? Same GD question as what was going on during the China virus outbreak.

The powers that be have yet to come clean on the China virus. And to hear and see crocodile tears now about measles is nothing short of pathetic.

You are wrong. Dr. Pierre Kory looked over the girl's chart, and she died of a secondary bacterial infection.. NOT measles. There were two (2) antibiotics given, which were very appropriate. However... neither of them covered the pathogen that led to her death. An additional antibiotic was needed. So again... she died of a bacterial infection, not measles ( a viral infection).

CDC: Measles was officially eliminated from the United States in 2000, meaning there is no measles spreading within the country and new cases are only found when someone contracts measles abroad and returns to the country.

You deniers are so obtuse you must of failed 5th grade reading comprehension.

I already laid this all out perfectly and logically. No one has countered my basic points worth a dang.

Now, I have to rebut this nonsense. You are quoting from an OLD link.

There is a 561 case-case outbreak in West Texas right now that has already killed two little girls. 58 are in the hospital, fighting for their lives. And it's spreading. Don't mess with Texas

And WTF does it matter HOW it got here? The whole point is a simple, safe, and effective, decades old non MRNA Vaccine that the TRUMP administration says you should get. It would have prevented those deaths and permanent and devasting injuries most of the hospital survivors will have. ... what is so hard to understand about that?

Not to mention, the MMR vaccine isn't just for measles, It's for Measles Mumps and Rubella.
