I mean....this is like being down 17 with 2 min to play and figuring out the sceanarios to win. When your options involve a 60yd TD onside kick recovery and pick 6/scoop score. Then..you are just kidding yourself. Will there be some R ..i'm sure a couple, but the "friends of_____" is far fetched ( and if done..then a perfect example of how bad DC is) Wyoming GOP just threw down on the #3 GOP in the house for putting herself above the voters...don't think that others didn't notice.

Republican insiders expected 20+ House crossovers for impeachment but only got 10. Dems pushed for a snap impeachment to take advantage of the aftermath of the 6th. It is now being floated that the Senate not take impeachment up until after Biden has his 100 day agenda in place. That seems like a signal that the Senate might just let this die. Trump being acquitted a 2nd time thrust him back into being the center of the political universe.

Establishment Republicans should realize by now that they earn zero political points by siding with Democrats; all Republicans are now the enemy unless they convert to the Democrat Party. Then again perhaps they are all Manchurian Candidates which might explain their ineptitude.

Somebody explained this quite well the other day.

Do 85 million Trump supporters despise the GOPe & Uniparty-YES

The Trump supporters W/O the POS GOPe is divided we fall.

Neither can survive W/O the other. The dems are using CCP tactics to divide and conquer when they join ranks no matter what.

Time to take napalm to the Republican Party. This is long overdue.

Except there was no GOP primary in South Carolina in 2020.

Take a look at the response of Wyoming Republicans to Liz Cheney and then tell me that the senator from Wyoming (or any of the others) have nothing to lose.

I know you can only think in terms of dichotomy, and think any negative happening must be the work of "the dems", but the Republicans are in the situation they chose. The party of conservatives have been taken over by absolute nonsense believing whiny safe space needing LARPers. The right is the new left, believing complex obviously false moronic fan fiction and accusing life long Republicans of being RINOs even though your inept president was literally an NYC Democrat for 20 years literally standing next to both Clintons. Yall are lost in the sauce, you have no idea where you are or whats going on and I truly pity you fools.

Trump is not running in 2024. And even if he did, Dems will never lose another election again. Too bad 80 million people that voted for Biden did not realize it was the final battle in the war to save the Republic which is now fka United States of America. Welcome to the NWO.

Reagan tripled the national debt. The Bush family ushered in permanent war and mass surveillance. McCain was a warmongering fraud who voted for against torpedoing the very bill he claimed to have been against since its inception. And Romney has zero spine, openly defended Antifa and marched with BLM. The Republican Party has nothing to do with actual conservatism.

why would a US senator of the same party want to school a POTUS who has 4 days left in office?

McConnell needs to go already...

What a bunch of b.s., but consider the source! The Hill is another anti-Trump outlet. Besides, if the Repubs pull this shite, they are finished- do they really think Trump supporters are just going to go away??

No

Blaming it all on Democrats is what got you in this mess. Even a unified GOP will have to start from scratch and build a new, unique platform that's different from it's past.

Rebellion won't work in such small numbers, but you do have the numbers to strongly influence a new GOP in a civil and respectful manner. This is what is required and anything else will just hasten the end of the GOP, while placing Trump supporters squarely in the anti-American camp.

Trump, Tea Party and Freedom Caucus supporters need to realize that they don't own a majority and they never have. This is why we have politics and democracy, so that everyone has a voice and input. Use it wisely.

The deep state is real, but it's not the authoritarian many of you believe it to be and it can be defeated by making your vote count.

Shite will go down before they can ram that through even if he got the votes.

I'm placing my bet on Sunday the 17th.

Optics are terrible for Monday (MLK day).
