If Mitch McConnell even attempts to get votes to convict, he knows his career is over and his legacy is in shambles. This is just more bullshite made up by some "journalist" because they never have to cite sources or back up their information in any way.

What a stupid article.
McConnel and the Republican party will be begging at Trumps feet for his support because they will never win another election without the support of Trump voters or the massive motivation that Trump brings to his supporters.
The RINOs will find themselves in a no win predicament in 2022 without Trump. 2022 is when Democrats are supposed to be most vulnerable and it is only this vulnerability that has any chance of keeping the Democrats from going extreme left before then.

CNN bit off their own foot this week. They reported the riot
at Capitol Hill started twenty minutes before Trump started his speech. They then reported that the FBI and other services had noticed exactly what I noticed in the original footage of the rush on Capitol Hill.
The tactics used were identical those of ANTIFA and BLM used continuously all summer long. Now we have ANTIFA members being arrested for their participating and LEADING the charge.

Does this guy actually think he'll get convicted in the Senate and removed from office less than a week before inauguration? That would be the death knell for the Republican Party.

This is Never Trumper fan fiction. McConnell is not going to allow an innocent Republican President to be removed from office no matter who it is.
