My friend, Donald Trump has absolutely nothing to do with conservatism. How do you not see that he is exactly the same thing as the people you claim to hate, and following him is alienating the only people who have ever had an interest in representing you. You've been bamboozled into destroying every asset you held while openly embracing a man hell bent on being the worst elected person of all time.

Take a look at the response of Wyoming Republicans to Liz Cheney and then tell me that the senator from Wyoming (or any of the others) have nothing to lose.

The 'friends of John Thune' grouping included Senators from Wyoming and the Dakotas. Those guys would get primaried ASAP in those states if they voted for impeachment. Author is an idiot.

The deep state is real, but it's not the authoritarian many of you believe it to be and it can be defeated by making your vote count.

I once believed this, until I witnessed with my own eyes all the various factions rise up to destroy the only Politician who ever had the audacity to oppose them.

The Deep State is real and wields overwhelming power intent on retaining the status quo above all else, above party, above country, above the betterment of mankind, is what I now realize.

The senate has no constitutional authority to put a civilian on trial, and any Republican Senator that would go along with this will be committing political suicide.

And humility. It's becoming a fine tradition in that particular circle.

I never said he did. But Trump has exposed the lie that we have a two-party system in this country. The Republican Party is and has been controlled opposition for my entire life. That Trump is a political outsider and won scared them all to the core. The Republican Party you knew is dead, because a large chunk of its voters have had the veil removed and will never vote for them again. And you can thank Trump for that.

Interest in representing us?! Get real. The only thing the uniparty has been interested in representing is their corporate sponsors and personal bank accounts. Wake up.

So, in your humble opinion, putting "America First" is not feasible or necessary?

That was precious Trump Derangement Syndrome fanfic.

I assume he was paid by the letter for that long winded word salad.

Cool.... put DJT on a national broadcasted trial. America can finally see his evidence of election fraud since the courts refuse to see it and judge for ourselves.

The courts dismissed all his cases on the basis of “no standing.”

The most recent Rasmussen poll found that 72% of Republicans wanted their party to be more like Trump. However, elsewhere, Congress's approval rate is 15%.

Yeah, that's the GOPe with a death wish. They are going to get flushed anyway for their spineless and corrupt RINO ways.

Good, I had rather the illusion be ripped away and the curtain torn down than to allow it to remain...

They only got 10 in the house but you expect them to get 17 in the Senate. This is a pipe dream.
