resident Joe Biden’s border chief says Americans need more migrants to fill jobs — even as House legislators debate his possible impeachment and the Senate considers a legislative deal he helped broker.

The Corporatocracy Elites love low skill, low wage workers pouring across the southern border, unfettered illegal immigrants are a component of their inflation reduction strategy. They believe crushing the wages of low skill workers in the US with millions of illegals competing for those jobs is a simply brilliant economic strategy.

I can guarantee if the people pouring across the border were high skill workers capable of displacing doctors, lawyers, IT workers, college professors, teachers, mid level corporate management, etc. the southern border would be locked down tight.

I was surprised to find out that dairy farmers very much rely on migrant workers. Some in Pennsylvania have had to shut down due to lack of workers.

An addiction to cheap labor. Mass immigration is used to put downward pressure on wages and keep them low.

People are too lazy to cut their own grass and cook their own food.

Ok but this has zero to do with illegal immigrants because you can’t legally hire them. There is a legal process for getting foreign labor to come work. I’m fine with using that, in fact I have used it for farm labor before.

They keep pulling this excuse to justify open borders but illegals can’t get jobs legally but they’re for sure a drain on taxpayer resources. If we 100% locked the border down I’d be fine with more work visas and an easier streamlined process to do that

Hey arse hat. It's not your job to decide we need more migrants. It's your job to protect our borders and to keep unlawful people out. You had 1 job and you ha e screwed it it.

There is no need for more unskilled labor in this country. There are Americans who should be doing the jobs Mayorkas would like to see go to illegals. If Americans won't do the jobs, cut off any public benefits they receive. They will work when they get hungry.

The biggest lie ever told is that we ‘need’ more low iq, unskilled, uneducated Illegal Immigrants. When everything moves to AI, Automation, and Robotics over the next 20 years what exactly are these people and their offspring going to do?

The US needs immigration to reach replacement birth levels, but we have the right to decide who enters the country. Even limp wristed leftists can understand this, well maybe not.

We do need lots of migrants. They should be legal only, but we need them badly. I do business in many parts of America, and I can’t get people to do basic things like build fences, and do routine maintenance. I have some hay fields out west. Usually the deal is that someone takes full care of the fields, harvests and sells the hay, and I get about 20% of the revenue. I’m having a hard time finding anyone to do it even if I give them 100%.

The lack of motivation to work is due to the entitlement system. People don’t work because they don’t have to.

The solution to this problem is NOT to bring in a different workforce that will do the work.

The solution is to get rid of the entitlements. Because eventually this new workforce will figure out that they also don’t have to work.

What then?

correct

our board certifications requirements prevent a lot of highly skilled immigrants from doing their work in america

their credentials are simply rejected

I have a good friend who has a masters in electrical engineering from venezuela that works at att as a technician, working as an engineer in america was hopeless for him

Yes we do, unless we want the cost of labor to skyrocket, and the demand for labor to be reduced due to those prices.

The Democratic Governors, Attorney Generals and Secretary of States (who control elections) will be sure to monitor and prosecute anyone who registers (or are registered) votes illegally Im sure. That’s the kind of deal the braindead GOP would probably fall for and hard sell on FOX. Almost as dumb as Abbott sending the illlegals deeper into the country to inevitably be registered and voting.

Wrong. If the unemployment was 0% then you have an argument.

You don’t understand basic economics. There is no such thing as 0% unemployment. Full employment is about 3% unemployment if I remember correctly. That accounts for things like job turnover.
