quote:Crazy if so. It’s an admission that MAGA has become fully co-opted into the Epstein class.
So that's it? Passing the Epstein transparency Act means he changed?

More like raving. Ranting can imply some coherence and rational thinking. SFP is just being his usual dimwitted self and spamming the board.

Massie jumped on the "muh Trump is a pedophile and it's in the Epstien files"

Thats actually funny considering Kevin McCarthy was a dyed in the wool Boehner acolyte

Are we talking about Trump?

Or they perceived him differently because he changed.
I know you’ll never consider this.

been watching the replies to this post for a couple hours and we are 4 pages in and still at ZERO (until mine).
interesting.

I've considered it a great deal but am waiting on this evidence to support the position. About the only thing people could come up with was the Epstein files legislation, but they can't explain why this is bad, especially as he didn't directly implicate Trump in it.

You sure are invested in this subject. Proof is in this very thread.

Yeah and I’m not here to defend how Bondi handled it all (the silly binder release before a real release). But why weren’t Massie and others yelling about it weekly during Biden’s term?

Yes, as a huge proponent of small government conservatism, MAGA's outright rejection of that officially is a big deal to me.
Combine that with the shift to all out neocon interventionist policies and we are in a strange, new world.
This lack of actual policy positions has been fascinating to me since MAGA formed in 2016 with the same issues. Now they've undergone two huge 180s in the past 3 months and are a GOPE-Democrat hybrid

interesting.
Some people are rejecting the irrelevant whataboutism of MAGA, especially when it's an attempt to divert focus from meaningful discussion.

Massie became an insufferable narcissistic jackass.
Most normal people don't like insufferable narcissistic jackasses.
The fact you can't comprehend this, and also can't connect this fact to why you're massively downvoted in virtually every post you make is not surprising.

No I understand irrationality, especially with the low IQ types who flooded this board in the Q era. This 180 in support isn't shocking to me given the demographic changes.
Trust me, as a person who was once celebrated for having the same policy positions now making me the villain, I find this Massie Derangement Syndrome era fascinating.

We debated this in the other thread and you are content on going down the same silly path. You still think that it's everyone else's fault but Massie's why he lost.
Here is a post from a poster who voted in that primary.
quote:
To start, I ended up voting for Massie yesterday. I had waffled back and forth, the decision could have been a lot easier if they picked someone that seemed a little less NeoConish than Gallrein, but I probably could have gone either way. I had family and friends that went separated ways as well.
I will say that Massie losing was clearly his own doing. No one worked harder to get him out of office than Thomas Massie. He simply stopped trying to do his job and represent his constituents and work within the framework of our political system to push his ideas and agendas forward. He chose to go on a self-destructive mission, that often times looked to be driven more by personal qualms than any sort of principles.
The optics just simply were not there for him. It appeared he was doing everything in his power to make Trump ineffective, which was not going to fly in a district that overwhelmingly voted for Trump to get his agenda pushed.
This goes back to the classic problem with libertarianism. It’s great at offering critiques of existing policies. But absolutely terrible at coming up with concrete action plans “that will actually work in reality” on how to get their agenda passed.
I argued with a friend last night about the situation. Said friend is totally ate up about the debt clock and how we have to roll it back, etc etc… which I don’t disagree with any of his wishes and goals. However I had to continue to remind him that it is not achievable with the level of immigration and makeup of our demographics and electorate. So until we go back to an electorate that resembles early America, we have to work within the confines of massive debt. There is no other option presently available.
But it still everyone else's fault, right?
