Democrats and their media arm, as well as SFP, whatever political space he occupies, simply don’t understand the conservative voter. They don’t see the big picture narrative that conservatives, more or less, tend to see. There’s a certain type of myopic view that keeps them from seeing that Trump is a COUNTER revolutionary. Because he’s effective at countering the progressives, his eccentric and narcissistic personality is tolerated. If a Republican starts pointing out Trump’s non-p.c. statements or his seeming inconsistency without looking at the bigger picture, then its clear they’ve lost sight of the bigger picture. That’s why Massie lost favor and why he lost the primary. This is not some mystery that needs to be solved.

This means that they don't have a political philosophy. All they have is relativism
That doesn't make them conservative. It makes them anti left or anti-democrat.

That's why what this says moving forward about small government, fiscal responsibility, neoconservatism, etc. Is the important part of the discussion and Massie himself. The individual isn't very important at all.
quote:My BIL was a first time republican voter for Trump in 2024. Will probably never vote republican again. So much winning. Sadly I have no reason to say he should.
That's what a lot of people who are spiking the football failed to understand because they're doing the whole team-based irrationality and think their team got a victory and that's all they can see and understand.
We have two democrat parties now.

If you consider Massie a "RINO" you're at an intellectual and rhetorical disadvantage and proving his point

With all the stories being written it's hard to google search, but I've posted tweets during the Biden Presidency by Massie about Epstein.
If he commented on Epstein during Biden's terms at a small fraction of what he did the last 15 months then it would be easy to find and all of us would know.
It would also be easy to find legislation he introduced from 2021 through 2024.

Here are the reasons you dont want to go back beyond Nov 2024.
Heritage Action last 2 scorecards
119th Congress: 84%
118th Congress: 70%
Wonder why 118th was so low? My guess is this:
Debt Ceiling Suspension Agreement (H.R. 3746)
Massie voted YES. This goes against being fiscally responsible.
Secure the Border Act
Massie voted NO. This goes against his border security policy.
So it sounds like policy to me, and probably the reason he lost.

Wonder why 118th was so low? My guess is this:
Debt Ceiling Suspension Agreement (H.R. 3746)
quote:
As a long-standing policy position, we have consistently called for dollar-for-dollar cuts and reforms commensurate with any debt ceiling increases. This bill does not do that. This bill suspends the debt ceiling until 2025, enabling President Biden and a divided Congress to generate an estimated $4 trillion in new federal debt.
Massie voted YES. This goes against being fiscally responsible.
Secure the Border Act
quote:
The Secure the Border Act represents the strongest and most consequential border security and immigration enforcement legislation to date—fulfilling key promises made by Republicans in their 2022 Commitment to America to keep our cities safe and regain control of the southern border. This critical legislation includes targeted policies to end the abuse of our asylum system and parole laws, mandates completion of the border wall, provides physical and personnel resources to secure the border, and strengthens immigration enforcement mechanisms.
Massie voted NO. This goes against his border security policy.
So it sounds like policy to me, and probably the reason he lost.

I haven't witnessed you this unhinged and dug in since Walz' appointee-Boelter killed a few moonbats up in Minnesota.
You went on for days about that one claiming he was MAGA.
I can't imagine how long you're going to sky scream about this. ...but your tears are beautiful.

I can't support Trump and hate Epstein?
Massie jumped on the "muh Trump is a pedophile and it's in the Epstien files" that TDS democrats latched onto and are still delusionally championing... This after they said nothing about the Epstein files until 2025. That's what he was saying. Voters saw through that TDS, disingenuous BS. And also saw Massie grandstanding on social media and linked up with Democrats.
He didn't say you can't support Trump and hate Epstein.
