JD is savy, he will sell it that he tried to steer the president in a direction the American people wanted things to go.
Yeah, that's not gonna work. He could have grown a set, reminded Trump that he's the only person in the executive brach that he couldn't fire, and demand that Trump not start the war...otherwise he immediately goes to the American people and breaks with Trump's decision.

Lose a lot of respect for him if he quits
don’t believe 2028 is his cycle

Massie would be a terrible pick and them all trying to get president wouldn’t stop one from joining the other.
Not really. I’m far from a fan of Massie and I will acknowledge Ron and Massie would be the ones to lock up the 18-40. However their problem will be the 40+.

Nooooo. He has easily been the best part of the 2nd Trump administration.

It’s easier to just ignore the voters and then call them stupid when you lose than it is to actually build a platform and not break every promise of it.
The gop leadership prefers being the bottom. They don’t want control or power, they want to be under the Dems and just getting their insider trading money.

It’s just speculation and unnamed sources. Theres been nothing on Rubios behalf to suggest he will leave. It also doesn’t mean it will be this week, if he stepped down it would likely be in a year which would be more understandable given the headline to run a campaign.

He has no shot at the presidency. I mean absolutely zero. He's connected to Trump at every level and every failure that people just rejected. He can't possibly be this stupid. He is probably this narcissistic, though.
but he's smart enough to want to get off the Titanic while there's still space in the lifeboats

There’s zero cause for a Trump impeachment. Anyone accepting this as normal or just how it is are no different than those get along go along Germans in th e 1930’s who asked no questions.

Dems are 100% gonna go after him and try to get him in jail for some BS reason.
Posted on 11/5/26 at 10:21 am to RLDSC FAN
Does he have to step down from his current position to be able to do that?

Rubio - Kemp 2028.
vs.
Ossoff - Moore
All comes GA and PA would be the key states. Beginning in 2032, Republicans can win the WH without PA, MI, and WI.

Massie got dick stomped in his race and he isn’t going to turn out enough people to win. He isn’t bringing a state that will matter to the party and needs help delivering his own state.
Plus Massie little threats of I’ll release names to never do it won’t work if we are trying to say we will make people pay for their crimes. He already has shown he can’t deliver on that and that’s a bad recipe.
Also some idea that we need candidates running on independent parties is also bad. The right is going to have to come together and win, not have its side splintered by that. In fact we should be seeding and funding as many splinter leftist groups as we can to take away from the base of the Dem.

You also predicted Republican gains after midterms so maybe sit this one out, champ. You’re either compromised or have the political intuition of my 6 month old black lab.
None of this is true.

Do you think he would be better served if he sticks around and stays close to Trump while trying to launch a presidential campaign? After what we just witnessed this week, any republican with presidential aspirations has no choice but to distance themselves from Trump.
This is false.

I don’t disagree with you at all in your points, I’m not the 18-40 crowd that doesn’t vote though. They’re the ones who are most obsessed with the Epstein files and post about Massie on the right in that demographic. They were the most vocal about his loss, even though they didn’t vote for him

Kemp could work as VP. Strong record as GA Gov except for election security but he dominated the polls. Also would likely put GA red again.
If we highlight the very public break with Trump and how Kemp wasn’t fooled with COVID nonsense it’s a play.
Gives president and vp both with successful track records and Kemp would beat the gay osshole here
