Yes... I learned my lesson with Hope and Change, but I doubt his biggest followers were aware back then as they were children. It's scary how well unicorns and gumdrops work on the young.

Anyone who didn't see this coming hasn't been paying attention. Socialism always costs more than initial estimates and produces less than predictions. The only difference here is that he hasn't even waited to take office before asking for more money.
